Havnt got any of it.. also what emission stuff do you mean? if i was to fix it i would have to convert it back to EFI or chuck a 4ac back in yea it does gutter you a bit especially considering that i wasnt doing anything wrong but just driving with my girlfriend and to get done for a fuel pressure regulator is just a joke... thanks alot for the encouragement and thanks to the others that have also encouraged me with this, it really helps and i will try my hardest not to let go of it as i really do love it and couldnt see myself letting it go... I would also like to come on the next cruise in VIC at some stage so maybe expect to see me there guys :)

Thanks alot for the inspirational words and i will be sticking with it, there is also light at the end of the tunnel because ive heard from a few people that they have been told they will get an EPA notice but never got one.. Also i could be in a bit of luck because even if i do get one it might not even be for emissions it could just be for noise so I'm waiting to see how things play out before i make any sudden decisions.. i drove it again today and i think i would struggle to ever let go of it, its just such an amazing and fun car to drive.. Also an update for the car, I'm looking at painting my meshies and was thinking of colour choices, I'm thinking gold centre with polished lip? any other suggestions would be great... also how would i go about prepping and polishing the wheels and lip? I'm also looking at getting them flipped and was wondering if anyone here has had their wheels flipped, if so how much approx does it cost?

yea i might have to as i might be selling my car or parting it out... if not i will de rego it and convert it to EFI then take it through vic roads and pass that way then i will never be scared of getting an EPA again... just so many things running through my head at the moment because i just don't want to give this car up, i love it

its been been converted from efi to carb and i know i will fail an EPA test the second they start it so I'm pretty much screwed :( , I'm just confused with what to do now

yea its pretty shit :( .. They just came up behind me and pulled me over randomly and they were just absoloute c**ts to me trying to hammer me for anything and everything.. yea well its either de rego her and sell her to someone who wants a 4AG'd rolla who will have to go through vic roads to get it regoed again, i can sell the carby set up and go back to EFI or ill have to just part it out.. i hope the same thing never happens to you man because as soon as they said EPA to me i just died inside :( .. its shattering

sorry to vent but ive had the worst luck lately... ive been in thailand for a while and while i was there i got stung by a poisons jelly fish and had to go hospital and was on some pretty heavy medication for a few days, then i got my drink spiked the night before i flew back into melbourne, i was on that V Australia flight that some of you might have seen on the news with the massive turbulence... To top it all off i just got done by the cops, they did me for a modified vehicle and EPA'd me.. i got done by the newer undercover cop cars with no antennas, no lights on the grill and full tint, came up behind me and just got me out of no where..They were pretty stupid cops though they didnt notice the engine conversion, MSD ignition, quad throttles or the EFI to carb setup, i bullshitted all of it, so they did me for my f@$king fuel pressure regulator which i stll tried to bull my way out of but got done anyway.. made me laugh as its such a joke of a defect and the cop though it was a BOV at first hahaha.. I'm not at all worried by the fine but the EPA has f@$ked me, I'm pretty much screwed as i will never pass so this corolla could be up for sale because i just don't have the time and money they fix it all :( its a heatbreaking moment as i love this car to death but if anyone has any positive suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated... just very gutted at the moment

bingo, spacers changed the pcd thats why they are needed but i guess they would also hit the struts etc if they had a streight 114.3 pcd and didnt use spacers.. also no need for the PCV emissions stuff anymore, ive got my roady and I'm happy so i really cbf changing anything haha except i might hook up my catch can as the breather just puts a little bit of oil out when it gets a thrashing.. ive got a possible engine conversion planned out for late this year to early next year so this engine could be up for sale in the future, not going to lie i love this motor though just how rev happy it is, the raw power it has and the sound is just mental.. i just love this car its such a well built car and you can just tell the attention to detail the previous owner and builder put into it.. :)

did some maitanance on the car yesterday, flushed the radiator because the water was going rusty and cleaned my air filters and found a nasty little suprise on the 4th throttle bodys filter: i assume it rubbed/vibrated itself to shit or it melted some how.. either way it has me beat because there is not evidence/melted filter on the 4th throttle body as showen in the pics.. This is how the car stands now but ill get a better pic up in the next couple of days: And pics on my new interior :D Interior before: Interior at the moment:

ive got a redline intake mani on mine I'm pretty sure its a bit shorter so everything fits without needing to be cut.. hope the conversion is going good would love to see some more pics on the progress, keep up the good work

Yea thats awesome reminds me of mine :P love carbs on a 4age the sound they make is amazing.. also the trumpets can fit just depends on the size/length of the trumpets you got, i have really short trumpets so i didnt have to get them cut i don't think so i don't have alot of bottom end but i have alot of top end go instead.. depends on what tickles your fancy really low end or top end, goodluck with it man seems like its all going well though

I havnt updated thread for a while but i got a roady not long ago, it took ages to get one as i kept getting knocked back for emissions but now its all good and finally back on the road and I'm loving every second of it :laff: .. ill take a pic of it tomorrow as it currently sits, has a new set of mesh rims on it now and the rims in all my previous pics will also be going up for sale tomorrow too as i need cash :(

Should be ready for a roady in about a week :P just need a few more small things fixed and it should be back on the road :)

Havnt updated this for a while been pretty busy with exams and that but interior is pretty much all in along with new brake lines and pads all around. need a wheel alignment hardcore after putting my struts back in but ill try get it as close as i can to driving straight before i drop if off to get aligned and i need my exhaust to get redone as i had to cut it just before the diff and its f@$king loud haha :P .. hopefully should be ready for a roady in the next week or 2 because I sooooo miss driving it haha :yes:

Yea ive seen the ones on ajps but these arnt normal alloy they are magnesium ultra lites and are very light only weigh 3.5kg a rim.. I looked up a catalogue at a wheel place found them in there for $350 a rim with no tyres so I have a rough idea now and will probably be up for sale soon :)

nice ke70 so clean and it looks pretty quick, but shit thats some bad luck there man, looks pretty nasty bet you were a bit shaken up after it.. you have to be careful in the wet sometimes, rwd cars can be a bit of a handful and can just snap from understeer to oversteer back to understeer again but you probably already know that.. hopefully its not too bad and it gets back on the road soon.. Also if your interested and want some micky mouse ultralites I'm thinking of selling the ones on my car, they are 13x7 and -7 offset and are extremely light which would look nice on your car too in my opinion, only problem is they have a 110 stud pattern but i have spacers which work on them.. all the best with it buddy

nah no injector holes :( its a redline manifold I'm pretty sure.. I guess the only options would be to tap a hole into the manifold and run the line, plug it off for the roady and hope the dipstick doesnt go for 6 or go get a half dodgy roady.. thanks for all the help buddy :)

the common problem with a car is that its a never ending money pit haha one thing breaks you fix it then another thing goes and it just keeps going round :( but its worth it every time you drive it I guess haha.. yea well now its on all 4's again ill be able to take it for a nice wash get it sparkling :P i took another pic not sure if it was what you were after and its a bit dark so sorry but it was the best i could do at the moment lol.. could i just take off the breather and block up the hole? or will it create too much back pressure even if its driven lightly? i only need to do it for the roady thats why
