  1. Clutch is slipping like crazay on the ke70, when replacing it, is it possible to just get a clutch, or do i need a clutch replacement kit? Cheers guyz
  2. Was the te27 ever released in Australia, i think ive seen a couple, not too sure though, dayamm would they be nice to own
  3. thanks towe001, that was my suspicion, but i didn't wanna go down to upulllit, go to all the effort of getting the f**kers out, and then come home to realize they're different -_- Thanks
  4. lol cheers, ill just wait around aye
  5. Is there anywhere in Adelaide that has a supply of ma61 mags...? ^_^
  6. I'm assuming this is why i can't create membership -_-, "administrator has blocked this" or somethign like that
  7. your looking at either, AU falcon springs front and rear, EF and XF falcon springs rear (not 100% sure if they fit on the front) ive also heard that VL commodore springs will go in the front Hope that helps
  8. ahk, thats cool, was just wondering cos the other weekend took a wander through upullit and found every model apart from an XT130 thanks
  9. Hey, as far as LCA's on a ke-70, XT130's off of a corona are the go, but what about RT130's and other models which have a random letter at the front and then T130, just clarifying as i know that there is a specific XT130, but is the "X" put in place to denote that any T130's LCAS can be used. thanks ^_^
  10. and that is all that needs to be known about it :P
  11. thankyou man, that was it -_-, what is it, fuel solenoid????? carby solenoid or something, does it do anything besides maintain idle? how i wish i knew more about carby's
  12. Took off stock carby, including polution gear, tried to put on webber, that fell through and now i just need to get it running again for work commitments. Now the car wont idle, and wont maintain revs and just drops in rpm Put the stock carby on, don't know which line is the vacuum hose line, tried all of the pipes, with every open line blocked up in one form or another. Just take it to a mechanics and get them to fix it up or is it only simple and easy?
  13. lol yeah got a few form yellow pages, earlier, give-em a call tomoz
  14. Anyone know any good wreckers in the south of Adelaide? Anywhere with Toyota parts of course ^_^
  15. :P, yeah i was just told it was a 32/32 when i bought it, figured something was up when i got it home and tried to get it working, at least not i know what to look for eh >.>, whats the 38DGMS actually mean....from what i managed to gather the DGMS and DGV carb have different methods of opening the vents at the bottom
  16. The guy at the carby shop was saying that because both of the vent things open at the same time at the bottom, and not one opening 3/4 way then the other one starting to open. I think he said its not a dmv carby? or something of the sorts 38DGMS 003232 found those numbers on either side I'm sure it would be a wicked carb for someone with more time and money, did wonders to my 4k. Had it on for a night, with a makeshift throttle cable mount, which unbeknown to me only allowed me to get the throttle about 50% open if that, so i wasn't able to flood it or anything, made the 4k noticeable faster and torque'er, weather that be placebo effect on my behalf I'm unsure. But once i made a mount for the throttle cable, allowing me to flatten the thing, it was undriveable, stuttering everywhere. my 4k is stocko as a rocko, 115 XXX kms
  17. cheers for that, spose ill hunt around :)
  18. Took the carburetor down to a carby shop today, turns out its an oldschool carby for a small 6 cyl car, no wonder why i had a heck of a time trying to get it running!, time to keep a look out for a 32 36 webber carb off of an escort i spose..
  19. Dunno if this is correct section.....ahhh! Quick question, to get rid of pinstripe on my kesev, ive heard you can heat it up with a blow dryer and peel it off with a plastic spatula....anyone done this or are there any other methods?? Also, the black plastic strip down the side of my car bout half way down the door, anyone taken that off, I'm afraid if i do it will look dodgy and ruin overall appearance due to a rough job in taking it off or different paint colour. Thanks guys ^_^
  20. fair keen......fingers crossed kesev is running by then
  21. ok, i think its time to take the carby to a carb tune mechanics, get them to service it and tune it for a 4k, i tried and failed . Webber Carby 1, Me...0 Many thanks to the help and interest i got ^_^
  22. omg thanks for that man, heaps of help
  23. so i took the carby off so i could tighten everything up and make the gasket seal better, now that its back on, it just splutters everywhere, i can barely push down on the throttle, its almost as if its being strangled somewhere. Its a struggle to get above 40....wasn't doing this before -_- A Weber 32/36 DGV is the most common aftermarket downdraft around. Usually you'll need to jet down a carburettor like this, unless someone has already done the work for you, or you have a fairly modified engine. For a 3K/4K, start at around: * 130 mains * 170 air jets * 50 idle and take it from there. Basic tuning tips: If the car "stumbles" forward but revs eventually climb, you're running too rich. If the car just cuts and dies, you're running too lean. That's from the faq, so sounds like i'm running too lean?, this means i'm not getting enough fuel or not getting enough air.....just from gut feelign, it feels like I'm getting too much fuel, where abouts are the screws to change the mix, i've got a photo with the top taken off, are the two golden screw things what you have to adjust, or are these the jets which you replace in order to "downjet" for a 4k engine, if so would i be able to order these from a shop like sprint.
  24. lol yeahhh, i been goind at em, even resorted to drilling em out,l but not much success with that, ill continue with the long bar!
