  3. Reminds me of General Anesthetic or whatever it is; the injection you get in hospital to knock you out. Doctor: "Now I'm gonna need you to count to ten yeah?" Me: "uh yeah sure thing" *thinks to myself, psh lets see how high i can get!!!* Doctor: "Ok whenevr your ready" Me: "1...2......3.................... "
  4. ahaha, ill try lubing it up hey, yeah it's as well adjusted as i can make it...i hope Currently attatched amakeshift spring so the car can make it the 2minute drive to the tyre place to get some new tyres put on. Twin side drafts would be good good; price tends to scare me off thanks
  5. Hey guys, installed new carby. all good except for the accelerator mechanism While my Throttle cable isnt connected, the mechanism which it connects to, on the side of the carby; works "fine" doesnt seem to feel real good, but still works, springs back to closed throttle and idles at approx 1k RPM But when the throttle cable IS connected, it appears that it restricts the mechanism from fully closing. Is this a matter of replcing the springs which allow the mechanism to return to close the throat of the carby? Possibly missing a spring??? Thanks guys
  6. I rkn its a lengthened stock t-50, with a spacer plate gone missing in the past
  7. Hey guys, got a t-50 short shift, but requiring a spacer plate in order to bolt it to the gearbox. Where bouts you get one of these fabricated, or possibly know anyone here who might just happen to have one lying around  Cheers guys
  8. Thanks guys I've had the same impression as toy-yoda, rear will increase rear grip, front will increase front traction. Thats pretty interesting 7shades; I had always thought that cars wheels were always the same distance apart, front from back!!! Just some food for thought hey
  9. Ok guys, just had this cross my mind the other day Which is more beneficial, or which does what: A) Having wider track at the rear of your car or B) Having wider track at the front of your car Thanks guys!
  10. Good friends trying to get in with your girlfriend.........hmmmhmhmhmhmhm
  11. WGMG: Not being able to find the longer studs i need to install my carburettor!!!! GRRRRR, have to wait till tomorrow now and go to a specialty bolt store :hmm:
  12. Ok then: Installed the webber, just need to find some longer studs because the ones supplied with the adaptor plate werent long enough -_-; search for those tomorrow. Bought myself some "peppershaker" alloys off of an old Mitsubishi Sigma GSR, look sex Installed my lowered rear springs, havent driven the car yet (no carby :hmm:), but they sit at a good legal daily height, and arent too harsh by the feels of things Go look at the price of some new front inserts and springs tomorrow, wanna get that sorted soon. Will upload some pictures when i can move the car!!! Peace out dudes
  13. Read the first post about 10 posts in shock!!! INSANE

  18. Yeah toyota section, on the northern wall?, ke3X panno yellow, on the side wall furthest from the building thing
  19. Yeah had a quick look, didnt seem too bad, not all rusty thats for sure, maybe a few dings? There was a set on the t-18, and then maybe three more crhome bumpers in the boot.
  20. Yeah you're right no reason why not, but i don't think i have the knowledge or capabilities to organise a successfull event such as this, only freshly out of high school.
  21. If this was in SA i would definantly go, sick of not having a voice in matters such as this.
  22. Dude loving the car, old school twin cam, sounds like sex in an engine bay to me!! Your rims also, I'm assuming you probably bought the car with them on, but their just widened steelies aren't they?, which I'm assuming you can just go to the local tyre shop... What kinda cost involved in it? The whole white YOKOHAMA writing and the big profile suits the car to a tee
  23. Theres a few supras at upullit jamie, one of them had all the flares taken off though, but the second one MIGHT have had em????
  24. they were cool, but only three unfortunately, reasonable condish. That being said i only had a quick look
