hey Q i have a nikki carb off a gemini n i can't seem to tune it right like i can get it to ideal right but when i take it for a drive down the road i get in to 2nd n go up to about 4000rpm then the car just dies on me then picks back up later. ive tried leaning it off but then the car wont ideal n take it for a drive n it still does the samething i've also tryed riching it up n it does the something as befor confusing :D

thats what i ment so i take it don't bother asking ??

yes u can trick it to be in neutral all the time done it to my mates car when it wouldnt start. but what about all the other wires that go to the auto don't they play apart in making it work if they don't y have so many more wires going to the gearbox then manaul. Q? y put a auto in if ur going to choose the gears manaully n if u do this ur only like going to have 3 gears in stead of 4 cause u wont be able to use D so driving on a motorway ur probly going to be reving the s!!! out of it. plus i still think it wont run with out the auto computer stuff but could be wrong never put a auto in to a manaul car alway otherway round n doing it this way i have always been able to get rid of alot of wires n a little tiny computer box thing.

that must be a comin thing cause my 4k does that two and so does my gf 4k. u can also put ur 1 spark plug lead to number 4 n 4 to one then start car with air filter cover off n give it a rev it should back fire throw the carby this can help dislage stuff and clean out inlet n carby. then spray down the carby with carby cleaner start car may take a little time to start when starts rev a little to clean it out n see if it runs better after that.

cheack to see if the carby is bolted down mine came loose once don't no how think it came like that from the old owner also cheack the hose that goes to the pvc vavle from the carby this come off mine n it did the samething
