i think that either the second pic which is brown or the last pic of the what looks like british racing green i think many people are tryin to go the bright orange colour just my opinion

well its a 1985 RA65 celica automatic coupe its all original and when my old boy brought the car it was off the guy who's mother that pasted away owned the car since new apparently it has genuine 100xxx kms on the clock and is in immaculate condition inside and out it was un-rego'd but we got a roady done and it only needed 2 rear brake cylinders and and 2 new wiper arms and then passed with flying colours even the old bloke that did the roady was amazed at how the underneath of the car was when my dad took it to him so basically its my daily atm as my falcon has got a pretty bad power steering leak and well i don't have the money just yet to fix the beast so i am using the celica to get to work and drive around i will upload pics of the car and you can see for yourself its got the 22RE motor in it with the standard EFI on the side its really is a pleasure to drive and cruise around in it will usually be at the munch inn car meet on Friday nights just to show this awsome piece of machinery off but i have been told to keep her in this condition just the ground rules that the old boy put down on me for using it lol also the name for it the Delorean was an idea giving to me by benny from here with the white 55 hardtop lol here are some pics

well i was an apprentice years ago but me and my host had a mutual seperation i give you my advice just like everyone the pay is shit from the start unless you are over 21 then the pay the adult wages and when i was in mine i was known as a DIESEL FITTER and when you get quailified head to mines and you will be set when it comes to cash and career just my 2 cents worth for you

the only reason he can't do that yet is cause he is a P Plate driver and he is still on RED P's

i gave it a rough coat in matt black but yea it anit the best but i kinda needed to put the motor in but its not looking that bad

yea i sure did i thought that both the greens were awsome but me and a mate that owned one we came to the idea that the lighter green would go well for it and well i tested it out and looks awsome aye and yea if you get one you goin have as much fun as i have building mine

hell yea i am in for it aye getting into the rollaclub spirit even thou i don't own one yet but the celica will have to do

well here is some pics of what i am currently been doin over the last 2-3 weeks motor and box connected up together and now in the car also tailshaft is connected i just dummy fitted the extractors and thats what they looked like before i painted them this is with the extractors fitted to the head and just starting to add more stuff to the motor in a previous post in one of the pics you can see the motor spread out and in pieces well take a look at the head and then see what it looked like after it was cleaned up and fixed at a head reconditioning place i also took the sway bar off the car and went ahead and painted it and put justins sway bar bushes in as the were pretty much not even a month old before he stopped using the car and well i assembled the front lights and grill and stuff as you will soon see in the pics below and finally its been an awsome build its not perfect but none the less iam happy and can't wait till its on the road in the time i have worked on the car its been a blast and i will look forward to the next project down the track still got a small amount of stuff to do but yea from what is was to now what a transformation there will be more updates as the build continues but i am going back to work tomorrow after a 7 week period off due to the slow season at my work so mainly weekend work and means more funds lol whats everone think of it so far

well i have had no internet downloads for over a week so i havent been able to upload any pics but i will have a bit of big update for you all to see and heaps of pics hopefully tomorrow some time if not during the week

what an awsome build well done and look forward to reading more and watching this build as it works towards beening on the road
