  1. lows are hardly noticable...as people have been saying.... i had lows in my old vn commo.... had to get them reset lower.......then i cut a coil of to....lol
  2. i have a daily driven ke35 with a 4age in it.......so I'm biased and say go the rolla!.....the celica would be great to thou.....might be worth more also if you were to sell it.....
  3. probably just condensation in exhaust is it running alright?
  4. looks like a thermo fan.......does it turn on when hooked up to power directly?
  5. replaced the rear shocks on my ke35 corolla. noticed while car jacked up, with handbrake up fully on i could freely move rear side drivers wheel..... i could also remove the drum with handbrake on. i take it i need to adjust the drum shoes?
  6. Is there a kyb shock insert to suit front of a ke35/ke55 ?? part number?
  7. ok what exactly is back lash in the diff? never heard of the term.....
  8. Ive had my small port 4age with manual transmission in a ke35 coupe for a couple of weeks now..... have developed an unusual jolt/shake.... heres what happens.... Normally most felt when in second or third gear going slow (under 40kph) under light accelaration just cruising along, it will be going along fine then suddenly it will start this jolting and shaking as soon as i accelarate abit more it stops......... i had a feeling its a bad/worn clutch but the clutch feels fine otherwise......... could it be engine mounts not good causing this issue???? when under harder load and driving faster will never make this jolt/shake only when at low speeds with small amnt of load on motor......;)
  9. how about a 20b rotary.......ive seen a few gemi's with rotors in them........
  10. there doesnt appear to be boiling and no coolant is going back into the overflow.... i take it my gauge maybe a little off the fan is probaly going off at 95d.... i didnt wire the thing up....... i had a muck around earlier. At the thermostat housing i d/c a plug running one wire, this triggered the fan to stay on all the time.... how does that work? can a switch be connected using this wire?? sorry I'm not to cluey when it come to how the thermo works I'm used the to k engine!
  11. yeh it seems to work its just for peace of mind i would imagine when its engaging its at the temp required but my gauge shows between 95 and 100 degrees, when moving its fine, when idle at lights or traffic it goes up after a few mins.......getting paranoid would be good to just flick it on when i feel in traffic or at idle before the thermo comes on.....at what temp to they normally come on 90 degrees?
  12. my ke35 4age small port conversion has a thermo fan set up, ive noticed my fan only kicks in when my (cheap may not be to accurate) aftermarket temp gauge reads around 97 to 100 degrees.....now it only reaches this temp when idle in traffic, i want to have an in cabin switch which allows me to turn fan on earlier but will still allow the thermo to come on when it needs to as it does now....... what wires do i tap into to allow a switch in cabin???
  13. What do you mean by the above?? :)
  14. for the rear i have read people use monroe vn commodore wagon shock absorbers.......does anyone know if these are stiffer? also are they shorter stroke would they suit car lowered 2 inches?
