when i got my p's late 90's...god i feel old! I didnt cop shit for having a corolla... all my friends had either corollas,geminis,datsuns or vn commos.... lmao our old corollas are the most reliable!

stock one is easiest. maybe try ebay ? any radiator from another car of similar size will require different mounting points.

At the kfc drive thru in my ke35, the young employee asked me what kind of datsun is that?...replied no its a toyota corolla... he then asked what engine? i replied stock dude...4age! he responded with sounds good my mate got a fully sick mazda rx3!?... no shit buddy just get me my chicken! lmao Another occasion again at kfc... car was parked. when i come out theres this big truck parked next to me, the truckie guy is on his knees looking under my car....i was like is there a problem? he gave me the spill he has had numerous old corollas over the yrs and there indestructable etc... he could tell by the sump mine was not stock... had a quick convo with him. he knew his shit... i never open the bonnet thou...not much to see really ...lol

yrs ago i had the most silly loud exhaust , i could be heard coming from 2 blocks away.consisted of 2 inch piping from the stock header section to one hot dog resonator...instant cop bait as mentioned and i got sick of it... not to mention ears ringing after long drive... so 2 inch piping is fine as long as you have a centre resonator and a muffler in the rear.....

needs more loud no mufflers possibly ! hear the brap brap

keep the 3k if its the cars original motor.... you may need it one day! good luck with the turbo k should really wake it up pics needed asap!

don't know never driven a turbo k engine but there a few people in here who have done this mod and may be able to tell you... i have a 4age ke35 and I'm happy with how well it drives.. but doing basic mods i mentioned will get it going faster for not much money... turbo the k engine is abit more involved....

if its auto id do manual conversion.. keep it k series motor... 5k perhaps and headers,exhaust, carby,cam mods perhaps...

all cars paint supplies on settlement road thomastown can do it for you... $15 a can when i went has been a while thou... matched my black paint up perfect...

it was most sleeper when i had the stock 13's cheese cutters with original hubcaps on it... but changed back to the superlights once painted...

update.... decided to have a go at painting the rims Black.. happy with the new look! Matches my r34 skyline... black on black can't go wrong!

all the effort to rebuild i say keep it and put it in your ke55.. it went good when it was cooked... imagine now its rebuilt !

of the top of my head you will need quite a few things....gearbox to use is t-50 out of a ae71,ae86 for example..motor to use is a bigport 4age in rwd from a ae86 would be ideal... but hard to find... so a small port 4age out of fwd corolla will do... but will require some modding of the inlet manifold, custom extracters. other things to think of are custom engine mounts,electric fuel pump, custom tailshaft to name a few...

my stock original 2 speed 3k-h ke35 does 90kmh ok.... its a turtle but it gets there... lmao

free but dodgy=cut say 2 coils, i have done this in my non daily ke35 and it rides fine... but once you jack it up springs are not captive and need to be positioned before lowerng it again. or less dodgey way pull the springs out and got them compressed.
