I just love this thread purely because of the work going into this beast. It's just awesome. Keep it up. :y: Josh

This could, or should be in the Victorian Section. :)

11psi should make this thing fly. It would definitely keep up to a 5L V8 Holden, one like the VS Ute Dad used to have. Josh

My brother went to a School Camp to Forest Edge this week, and he said on the way, he saw an Orange KE36/38 Panelvan just sittin' in a Paddock with 50 other old cars. He said he didn't know where he was at the time. He also said he saw a Lime Green KE10 at Mt. Baw Baw with Personalized Plates on it. Josh

If I were to go for an Old Straight-6, I'd go for the 250 Crossflow. Josh

Looks really good Reed. :y: Now you just need to get yourself some Gloss Black and use it for the Front Lip and the Louvres IMO. :) Josh

Hey There is a 3m product called a CLEAN & STRIP DISC its a plastic wheel looks week as piss but will do the job fine you will have to get it from a good auto paint supplies store Cheers Woz

Dad said the other day, he saw a White KE36/38 Wagon flying up the Bulla Hill going towards Sunbury. He said it looked and sounded dead stock, and that he was probably doing 80-90km/h. Josh

Cheers. :y: Same with yours. :)

Cheers. Yeah, Acrylic has to settle for nearly a year (minimum 8 months), so we'll be polishing mine in January next year. :) Josh
-
Yeah. Same with mine. :) Me and Dad are absolutely hangin' to give mine a Polish, but we have to wait another little while because we painted mine in Acrylic in our Garage, and Acrylic paint takes a fair while to dry and settle properly. Yours will look really awesome once it's polished. ;) Josh

Got some Photoshop Chops done to see what Ollie would look like lowered on the Skyline Stockies. ;) Cheers Mason and Reed (blzbub666) for doing this for me. :y: Standard Height: Chopped: Standard Height: Chopped: Josh

Paint looks very nice mate. :y: Josh

This looks really good. It's really clean, especially being a 2-door and well looked after through it's life. :y: In my opinion, a 4A-GE upgrade is just another thing everyone with a KE70 wants to do, but really, for what? You're only going to be get just a few more Horsepower than the standard 4K. An SC14 Supercharger from a 1G-GZE will do the job. You put it where the Air Conditioning Unit usually goes, but this one doesn't have one, so you will need to find an A/C Unit Bracket, or make one. Then you just need to find the right pulley(s) (100mm S/C pulley will give you 7psi from the standard size crank pulley) and then tune it up so it performs just as good, or better than a 4A-GE. :) Then you just lock the standard diff, or throw in an LSD diff, and you'll have loads of cheap fun in your hands. :) A Smaller S/C Pulley, and Larger Crank Pulley, should give around 12-14psi from the Supercharger into the engine. :) Josh

Hey sam, We just used a good windscreen rubber out of a ke55 sedan from Pinch-a-part in Campbellfield. You don't have to search ebay sellers for a rubber, you just gotta find a decent one with no cracks or splits from a ke30-55 in a wreckers yard, and try and get it out in one piece without spliting it. Ryan is right - any ke30-55 corolla windscreen rubbers are the same, except the ke35 and ke55 hardtops. Cheers Woz.

Hey fellas, Surgery went all good, and I'm recovering slowly, but all is good. Yesterday, we rolled out Ollie and gave her a wash, because she was lookin' a bit dirty from sittin' in the garage. Then she was dried down with a Shammy (Chamois) and still looking really good. :) KE Rolla and ZRE Rolla. :) Josh
-
Cheers guys. :y: The way things are goin', she should be done fairly soon. Just gotta finish the interior, and save up for the RWC and Rego, then we'll lower her, and Cruise. :) But as we stated in the last post, Josh is going in for surgery tomorrow, and the project will be postponed for a few weeks. :( But after then, things will be happening again. :) Woz & Josh

We were just gonna meetup at BP at the Hume HWY, but Josh is going in for surgery this Friday, and the chances of catching a cold before going in were too great to risk. So no go for this one, DEFINITELY put us down for the next one -- preferably AFTER August 15. :) Woz & Josh

Cheers fellas. :y: We personally like the look of the wheels, but once it's lowered 2" all round (after RWC), it will look heaps better. :) As you guys may read in our signature, 215s are good enough to rip fat skids, and plus, they look really good under the rear archs, and they'll look even better once she's lowered. We only need some matching 195s for the front (if someone in Melb can help us find some RWC ones), and we'll be done in that area for the next few years. ;) We were hoping on going to tonight's Kebabs Cruise in the EWT-Wagon, but because Josh is going in for Surgery on Friday, the chances of catching a cold were too great to risk. But after the next 2 weeks of recovering, Josh should be fine and we will definitely be attending the next one. Giving that, the project will be put on hold for the next 3 weeks. :( Woz & Josh

Hahahaha. :) I took off and went to throw it into 2nd and the gear knob fell off. So I decided to take off in 3rd, dump the clutch, and cut some lock. ;) Josh

Cheers Mason. :y: Josh

New Shoes. 14" R31 Skyline stockies painted black with some dress rings. :D Tyres are 215/65/14 all round, but we do need to find some 185s or 195s for the front because they hit the strut tower on full lock. Now she just needs some low, but that will be after RWC. Woz & Josh

Rolla looks better. :P Plans sounds good. As I posted, I'd like to see this on a Rollaclub Cruise. If you look in the Victorian Section, it'll show you when and where there are meetups and cruises in Victoria. ;) Josh
-
Looks really good mate. :y: Where in Melbourne are you located? I'm also 16 on my L's. Would like to see this on a cruise or buzzin' around. What colour are you going to respray it? Any plans for the Engine (besides SC14)? Any other plans? Cheers, Josh

I believe they're TA22 Celica Lights and Grille modified to fit the KE20. That's what I read from Troy's (RA28GT) original For Sale thread. :)
