  1. Yeah I know. And you're both right. I'm not going to be worried about crashing it while driving it. I'd only want to take it out occasionally, but not everyday of the year. It will be driven to Car Club Events, to Church on Sundays, and on the occasional Weekend Cruise when Dad's in the Smurf with Mum. It's 90 days a year for $100, which I think is really good for what I want. :) Josh
  2. Well, as some of you might read in Dad's Smurf thread, we're gonna start working on The Smurf, and start getting that on the road. :) Ollie is currently under a Tarp under the Alfresco area (outside my bedroom window) until the Smurf hits the road. :D I have also decided that I'm going to Club Rego this beast. I heard from dad that people will always crash their first car, and if I ever majorly crashed Ollie, or if someone else crashes into it, I would cry for a week. So as a result of the discussion, Club Rego is now the new plan. And when I get my P's, I'll find myself like a KE30/55 Sedan to run around in as a daily. So Ollie will be sitting under a tarp under the alfresco area until the Smurf is ready for the road, which I don't mind. Just means there will be a Registered Manual Car around the house to learn in. :) Josh
  3. Well after a little while of it just sittin there I've decided to pull it out and now I'm gonna start working on it. I'm gonna fix up some dents and little bits here and there, and then either touch it up in the colour it is now, or respray it somthin funky. I will be putting on the KE35 hubcaps, and I will be putting on the Sun-Visor. After all that, I will be Club Rego-ing it. $100 for 90 days sounds good, so that will cover ALL Victorian Car Club Meets/Cruises and the ocasional cruise with the wife somewhere lo"n"slo After Club Reg, and if I find one cheap enough ready to bolt on and go, I will throw on a Supercharger kit or full Efi kit. I'm also looking for a set of cheap Extractors if anyone's selling any. Stay Tuned Woz
  4. Dad said he saw a Green KE55 (maybe RIDDLA's, without him driving it), and he also said he saw a Yellow KE30/55.
  5. +1
  6. No probs. :y:
  7. Mustard Yellow (Bamboo) -- Paint Code = PPG 511. Before you buy a 4L can of it, go to your local Paint shop and ask them to make you some Touch-up paint. If the colour matches, THEN go buy the 4L can. :) Woz.
  8. Oh yeah. And that HK Brougham, Dave's awesome TE27, and again, lots of Corollas.
  9. paint code should be on id plate ill check it out tommorow at work where are you located ?? might know where you can get the paint cheers woz
  10. Looks good mate. :y: Is the gearbox an auto? If so, which type? And are you going to go for a sleeper look, down to the 12" Stockies and Hubcaps? Josh
  11. Cheers Tom. :y: I really do appreciate Dad's help and efforts into this little beast. We keep saying to ourselves: "She's not bad for a couple of Amateurs". We also say that this is only a First car. It's not meant to be all perfect and straight, but we like it as to what we've both done and achieved. Ahahahaha. We left at 10.30 cause we had to go to Church over in Glenroy. :) Cheers, Josh

Cool. Thought I'd clear things up a little. I thought you had like 5 KE10s with: A 5K going in one, a 4AGTE going in another, a Beams going in another one, a Grandma 3K and Auto one, and this KE16. :y: All good now. :) Josh

I'm kinda lost. What cars/projects do you have and what engines/gearboxs are going into them? This is looking really good by the way. :y: Josh
  14. Cheers Stu. :y: Didn't ya see the Blue VT Wagon with the 'EWT' Plates and those big Yellow "Lunatic" Plates on the windows? :D We'll probably go to the next one, pending on where it is. If we do go, we will be in the EWT Wagon, maybe with the L-Plates up as well. :) Josh
  15. Nah... We need to sell the car whole to fund for a car for him.
  16. Cheers Ben. :y: I couldn't be happier with the finish. Just looks really awesome. :) It will only go on the next meet/cruise whenever the Interior is finished (door/window cards, carpet, seats, etc.) which might be a little while. I'd say the 3rd or 4th meet/cruise after the next one. :) Josh
  17. Cheers Matt. She is without a doubt going to cop some low. I just can't wait for the time she does. :y: Josh
  18. No worries. And thanks again for sending that fella over to us. Remember, don't tell anyone about it. ;) Josh
  19. Today we went to the TCCAV Preston meet, and it was really really good. Had a chat to a few people, and also might have another rocket lined up for Joel (Josh's brother). :) Yesterday, because it was a really nice day, we rolled out Ollie, and gave her a much needed and long awaited Wash, Cut & Polish, and Wax. We also used Swirl Remover to make it look better. :D We'll just let the following pics do the talking. ;) We might be attending the next Vic Cruise in Ollie when we finish the interior. We'll just throw on a Permit for the day, and then Wow some people. :) Woz & Josh
  20. Loved the HK Monaro and the Brougham. Also loved Dave's TE27, that Mazda 929 (lexus v8 sleeper), and the Ke38 Wagon. :) Was an awesome meet. Might attend the next one, or the one after in Ollie with a Permit. Woz & Josh
  21. Hey Guys, PERFECT FOR A FULL COMPLETE V6 CONVERSION INTO YOUR 'ROLLA !!!!! (You will have to make your own Engine and Crossmember mounts). Gotta make some room and fund for another project. Was intending to use this as a Daily and Tow-car, but found out it was on the Stat Write-off list. For Sale is a Complete Holden Commodore VS Equipe V6 Auto (minus R/H Front Guard) in Botanica Green. Car has done 286,000 country km's. Previous owner was an elderly man. Unfortunately, some knob in a 4X4 backed into him. It has an IRS Diff, Electric windows, Cruise Control, and other goodies. It also has an Electric VT Driver's Seat (original supplied). Ecotec V6 and 4-speed Auto. Engine runs (heater tap has Shiet itself), and Auto shifts perfectly. The only damage on it is the L/H Rear 1/4 (kinked), which put this on the Stat Write-off List. Apart from the Cracked L/H Tailight, and the R/H Front Guard, everything else is all good. Asking $600.00 OBO. This comes with ALL the extra parts from Previous VR-VS Commodore's I've wrecked out (Switches, Trims, Mechanical Parts, etc. - Everything I have leftover for VR-VS) This car CANNOT be re-registered, so it is only good for a Parts Car, or a Drift/Race Car Project. Post, PM, or Call/Text 0448 533 471 for more info. (No Private Numbers will be answered). For those who are seriously interested, Call me. Car is Located in Sunbury, Victoria 3429. Only 15mins past Melbourne Airport, and Calder Park Raceway - 10mins from Melton. Woz.
  22. Might be in once Ollie's finished. ;)
  23. Bayford's on Sydney Rd in Campbellfield. Dad works in the Paint section and mixes colours there, and they use good proper PPG paint. :) Josh
  24. We're in. Attending in the EWT-mobile. :)
