  2. today i purchased a pair of ra40 celica lcas in very good condition and bolted them straight into my ke70, now my car is going down for a wheel alignment is there anything fancy i should get them to do? AND another thing. i would like a few peoples opinions on the strut and brake upgrade options for ke70's. I HAVE researched this a lot, i am just wanting opinions and a rating of the break setup. thanks jamie.
  3. its a 4k i wouldnt bother.
  4. best off using the search button and google man. you will find 99% of yoour answers there
  5. haha sounds like a plan mate, but performance wise that will be under around 500 ish
  6. from what wiki says black top produces more power haha. well if ur gonna get it al imported, get a wrecked ae86 with the whole running gear if you can. is up to you, ke30 would be very nice but i think there would be a bit more time involved in the conversion. umm ive heard a w55 box will fit the 4agze, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_A_engine that should solve most of your problems with questions 2,3,5. and google will have the rest of the answers to your problems :)
  7. yeah i will do, thanks oldfella. anything i should do whilst stripping the motor?
  8. yeah ill see if dad and i can shib one up :P
  9. would a work shop 17mx14m be big enough :lolcry:  i found the name, valve train organizer. :D haha an egg carton is flimsy.
  10. HA i did about 3 hours work(sanding wet rubbing) for an ae82 complete car with a 16v 4 age in it. I am planning on taking the bear 4age out and parting the rest of the car out. now whilst the motor will be on an engine stand i will strip the motor down and send the head away to be ported and polished cylinders honed by 40.60 thou. would any one know were to get one of them tray/rack things were u take the head apart and put it in order..? catch my drift any one? If any one has some ideas for me(no contaning to much money) feel free to share. thanks, Jamie. AND another thing i got gift a borg warner diff :) FOR FREE : D which i will be selling so far i have saved over 1000 dollars, so WHOO said this conversion wont be cheap.
  11. 1jz your dreaming, that would be a very expensive conversion, VERY, 4a-gze 4a-gte is a diferent story. 4a's in a ke70 all the gear u need is in a ae86 for the conversion. except the motor and gearbox wiring etc etc. your best of going with a 4cyl toyota motor some 4a. otherwise theres alot of fabricating to do. I'm sure other motor heads on here will say the similar thing.
  12. IN MY OPINION, i say the ke70, 4age is an easier bolt in to the ke70 then ke30 i THINK, you will have alot of fun with a 4age. plus theres more straight bolt ons for a ke70 then ke30. my 5k in my ke70 gets me wet, i mean happy. :fuzz:
  13. haha yeah its a pain with the tool's. oh people use can pay me in parts if u don't have the money, (eg; ae86 parts to bolt on my ke70  or 4age RWD parts)
  14. huh? i am offering people help..?
  15. Hey guys i have been researching a lot about all conversions into ke** mostly ke70s. Any one on the Gold Coast who is doing a engine conversion and would like a hand (no charge as long as you are close by) i am very well mechanicly minded, i am doing this to gain experience and knowledge of from other enthusiasts, i would appreciate if people would let me help them on there conversions. if you are interested in having me help you out and helping me out with your knowledge then PLEASE pm me. thanks guys, jamie. PS. i am currently at tafe so i will only be available on some days, there for they vary depending on tests and shit :P
  16. yeah i wouldnt mind getting a touch pad and A DNA analasys machine and put in my keto... -.- :P
  17. nice buy, i have done a massive break upgrade and coilover kits upgrade all round on one of these, quiet the nice car. :)
  18. HAHAHAHAHA that is crack up.
  19. Have people not heard of jobs, seriously. thats so pathetic that people f@$k stuff up for other people. :bash:
  20. poor bugger, if i had expensive rims, i would go to a steel/ metal fabricator and get them to make a special design of lock nut. would cost around the 150 mark but hay its saving C$#ts like that from taking your rims.
  21. the problem is i need to get to tafe and back, i wont be having much help due to dad going away for a while. so i guess i will just have to take it of the road at some point and rebuild the motor. or just buy another 5k motor thats been modded etc. could swap them over in a day or 2 the nock is very quiet so hopefully it can hold out for a fair while.
  22. i don't see the word engine conversion and cheap together..
  23. hahaha finally something remotely funny.
