IN my conversion i used a stock KE35 radiator and just had it recored with a three row core, Also put a thermo switch in the bottom tank to turn the thermo on and had the outlets moved to suit the ca18det inletr and outlets. Never gets hot sit between 87 and 92 even at the drags etc -
just ring a engineer or go see one don't go by what you get told by people on a forum and its best to find a engineer now and ask him right thru ur build what he wants to see and what is legal that way it is easier to ghet passed once its alle

yeah i think it had more in it too untill the box shit the bed. I m at this stage going to put the CA box in and try and sell it off while it still only has around 3000km on the rebuild. I really wanna sell it and put into real estate. Cars suck fun but such a burden on the back pocket!!!!

I will also still sell this at a huge loss if the money is at say half what it owes me so anyone after a rolla with all the bullshit apart from tubs and cage contact me every part is new and owes me well over $25K. We believe it ll go 11's on strret tyres

NA i just drove out yesterday on a pair of 16' tyres that came standard on a '04 falcon that have been sitting at a mates shed for over a year or two. Still the same as it was before the hilux diff which was just reset and a tramp leaf added. With slicks and slappers or caltracs i wpold wanna see a 11.80 atleast. Thinkin big auto and transbrake maybe got to weigh up weither or not to spend more money or not?

what times did you end up running yesterday? Seen i thoink was a 12.6 at one stage. I blew the pintara box!

yeah my clutch slips doin 1st to 2nd gear statics but wasd only built to handle 300hp and it makes that already. HAve a aspair box and a better clutch that just needs new pads but not sure weither to waste the money or go auto. Need to think about it for a while

Running 14 psi on pump fuel. Running the auto will be a advantage as: 1. Able to hold it on the transbrake at full boost and launch. 2. Quicker and more accurate gearshifts. 3.Stronger than ca or rb manuals. More tyre looks like the biggest drama i d say my 8' slicks look like they be too big for the standard tubs.

Ran today out at willowbank for the 2nd time drove out and ran a 12.95 straight of the bat. Followed by a 12.51 and a best of 12.41 last run felt even quicker got a good launch before blowing the box. Lost third went to fourth los forth then rooted the whole box! Big auto and transbrake now maybe???? Seen a certain white ke 4 door also pull some good mid 12 sec passes as well

yeah i used round range rover mounts from repco can't remember number they are just like 2 1/4' round at a guess. You will be welding the standard metel brackets to the cross member anyway after modifying to suit the location of the ca18 in the engine bay. Mine are holding up to around 390hp at the motor or 301rwhp.

just use the standard box from the 4a it ll save you any dramas and fill fit in the tunnel you need a custom tailshaft anyway. Just make a crossmember to bolt it up to the ke30. I went ca18det fit piece of piss just alter standard front cross member and bolted in use range rover engine mounts.Custom g/box cross member and just had to cut shifter locatio 3-4 inches futher back. Hilux diff fitted rn10-13 real early model and used a detroi lsd as hulux and commodore are known for there shit oem lsd's. Hopper stopper 5 stud conversion and xr8 brakes were used on the front to match the hiluw sdtud pattern. xy-el wheels work the front and au-ba for the back. Good luck

I used nissan patrol as mine is a twin system no it need a adaptor bracket as standard is horizontal bolt patten and the patrol is vertical

Sweet i just used a Standard hiluxd diff real early model like '73 Rn 10-13 Works well with standard BA falcon 16's. And put on 300mm FRont rotars twin piston cailpers, r31 rear discs and nissan patrol 1' master!

Can tell you the hopper Stopper kits are very straight forward and need no mods to work on earlier rollas just installed mine custom hubs (Ba FAlcon 5 stud and XR8 brakes) to the front of my coupe and nissan partol 1' master cyl. All went smooth as just be aware i am having trouble finding wheels as the offset is a bit weird why to close to the strut. Peddars or anyone should be able to modify a standard strut to either coil over or to a custom shock either inserts or different oil and valves. I used a late model corolla rear spring in the front so its heaps soft and stiff as in the rear and added a tramp leaf squats hard core. I went a Hilux diff with skyline rear discs. If u use early model like rn10, 15 they fit in fine using a standard BA falcon steel wheel. 16' pr 15' just have the spring mounts moved over and brake line mounting points. Put a late model 4wd lsd in if you want however i went a detroit LSD as OEM lsd is shit house Goood luck

hilux diff in brakes done today on the front. I might sell it for the right price if not i ll just keep playing with it wanna run a 11 before i sell it but!

HAve now cracked 300.2hp at the wheels on 14.5 pound. Got about 2km before twisting the axle clean off inside the centre. SO have now had a hilux diff built. All reco- NEw bearings 4.37 gears, BRand new sure trac Detroit geared LSD, Disc brake conversion to diff as well. Also have 2 piston cailpers and 300mm rotors that are going on tomorrow night. All brackets etc , made and just need to bolt up.. Racing 15 april MT slicks here waiting. Hopefully crack a low 12

sweet 24th of feb at willowbank will be sweet for me too! As long as i get my diff and xr8 brakes by this weekend i ll come out and race with you what stud patten you running if its ford i might have a spare pair of slicks you can have a run on. Anyway be good to see to ca18 rollas ripping it up TO sleepercorty: My mates 1200 makes 212rwhp with 100% stocko motor with a t28 on it and 500x300 fmic and stock ecu. Hope that helps

Mate check my car search ca18rolla in rides and projects Ca18det ke35 coupe puts out 300rwhp! Putting a hilux diff with a detriot sure trac centre and 270mm disc in on the weekend also a XR8 twin piston five stud 300mm conversion on the front. So will be ford patten right round.

NIce ride brother good to see some more CA18 rollas (i hear NICK really likes them). I ran 13.2 (205rwhp) with a slow 2.6 60ft and a slippin clutch but just joined the 300hp club with mine yesterday on 14.5 pound so i ll be out in a few weeks again when the hilux diff is in. Come racing april 15 $85 all day probably get 20+ runs in! nice work again mate
