  1. I would assume you can use the regulator without a drama. All the rising rate does is (1:1.7) Is for every 1.7 psi of boost the ll rise 1 psi of fuel pressure. So it should be fine, Maybe someone can confirm this. Or send them a email and they ll let you know! As for the pump let them know what hp you ll be running and let them know you want a extrenal pump and they ll tell you what to use. Goodluck!
  2. I assume people are talking about, a WALBRO in-take pump. genrally this pumps are used to upgrade your standard intake pump. My car runs a bosch Vl Turbo pump $180. Though i am running out of fuel at 205rwhp so will be upgrading to the big boy 044. They are a inline external pump. Try this link about the cheapest around and quick delivery. Brought a few sets of injectors from them http://injectorsonline.com/indivprod.php?c=7
  3. I think i know what you mean, Like anti lift bars that front wheel drives run. Looking at the two link extra spring and reset pack. Will run slicks at the drags but wanna limit wheel spin for street duties. Caltrak are a bitch of a thing. You add preload to keep em straight and stop wheelspin. Break traction and regain and they can spit you hardcore sidewayz. Seen my mate put a Customers 700hp Camro into a parked car. (Poorly adjusted Caltrak) And he can really pedal, He drag car is just shy of 1000hp (8.6 second quaters)
  4. Yeah mate i ll try in the next couple of days to get down the workshop and get some pics for you. My shifter comes through right at the back of the standard centre console.
  5. Agree with above post any motor is shit with a bad tune or as i posted before half the ca's that everyone refers to are up to 15 years old and have had ten or so pound shoved up there arse for ages. Or may just be a genarally worn motor. Ca's are almost identicle to a Rb in design. Both are i Top motor if you ask me. Like most motors- A fresh Ca thats tuned right, Treated with some respect. Driven to match the build of the motor. They will keep going and going. Seen many a sr, rb, k series motors, v8's etc.. with spun bearings and blown heradgasket are they all shit too???? Crap arguement matey!
  6. Yeah get in in and see where the shifter ends up mine needed a new hole 5' further back. Plate the old one while the box is out. Quiter and adds a little strength back to the tunnel. I mounted my motor as far back as possible to try and help the car handle as well as possible. Keep us up dated.
  7. Yeah I don't mind what diff i use but only want to do it once and need something to handle around 300rwhp. We used a standard locked diff in my mates ke7o (220rwhp) and it started turning the splines on the axles though the locked center held.
  8. yeah ca18 box but they run a elec. speedo sender so i put the CA20 speedo sender in (pintara box).
  9. Mate i put a fitting in the pick up of the tank and ran a hose to a little pre filter and into a vl turbo pump and then made new 3/8? steel buddy line to the motor which then goes through a Malpassi regulator and into fuel rail. Yeah i brought some Jasma extractors for mine (When i was going n/a) looked really sweet but where the 4-1 collector was touched the g/box on one side and some part of the steering on the other. Hope you can fit yours but! I used a Pintara speedo fitting in the box so i could run standard dash. Though i also have water temp on my hand controller and Speeco Oil press, Oil temp, Boost, and a Tacho
  10. Yeah i was wondering as i m planning on a Hi-ace/Hilux lsd for mine. Thought i d see what the ae86 diff was like though. I ll probably stick with a hilux then at least I know it ll will handle the power. There axles are fat as! Cheers
  11. Guys as some of you may know my little beast is going to struggle for traction. So When i do the Hilux diff conversion I want to upgrade the suspension etc. To help make it get of the line as quick as possible. I m thinking maybe putting a two link in and maybe having the spring pack reset and some decent shocks. So i wanna know what others have done or what would be a good way to help with traction. Also i have searched but anyone done coilopver front??
  12. Sweet be nice to see her sideways!!! Keep us updated When i get my suspension done i ll be out drifting too. can't wait to unleash at power cruise!
  13. Looks very tidy don't mind the colour either. Not a fan of the cannon but each too ther own. Be nice with a engine upgrade. Good luck and keep us posted. Check mine out http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=4477
  14. Is you tappet cover touching the fire wall or is it relly close dude? I also remeber that sticker on your timing case cover from somewhere??? I m running a custom 600x300x76. If you look in the pic from the front at the top of this page you'll see it behind the grill. Yeah i need to tidy it a little more not completly done. Braided lines alloy cover plates etc!!! I would want my cooler on the outside to receive as much airfliow as possible if i was you. If you end up putting it on the outside buy a bigger cooler man there cheap under three hundred for one off the shelf. As you'll need to make i/c pipes anyway might as well make em for a decent size fmic.
  15. Nice
  16. Just wondering how much these diffs can handle (hp) I pressume their are plently of centres available as well lsd 2-ways etc. Lastly what is the measurment from disc fdace to disc face. (where back of wheel touches on each side) Cheers Robbo
  17. yeah same here car is finallt ready and i broke my foot and its in a cast and then got a letter saying having a fine back dated almost two years so no licence either! What a bitch
  18. 10psi and that compression is sweet! Nice
  19. like the bend out off the turbo! lol Na good work man different for a drifter, bet i handles nice!
  20. Yeah man they make big power, But is it useable and how reliable is the motor. I don't mind sr's at all as said in previous posts, don't get me wrong. But after seeing sr's from dyno cars and some serious street cars, I am not a massive lover of them! Man i know what makes a strong motor. But my piont is the blocks are strong as in a CA and without throwing a rod or something you'll be pressed to f@$k the block! Do sr's even run a crank gridle man? high rpm, high hp SR's have be known to suffer crank walk
  21. Yeah i would be carefully with the washer idea. I would say you could be defected straight up for that and insurance could void you too. All a engineer would wanna see though, would be a few tacks on the washer to the floor pan and maybe some on the nut to the washer. Goodluck!
  22. Nice that''ll be sweet witht he ca or sr! Nah my car will be delayed another month broke my foot and off work for a month! Also had my licence revoked due to a back dated fine from 18months ago when i was on my p's. So 3 months till i can drive it. But i ll get a mate to take it out for me once its done.
  23. Thanks guys, I ve put a lot of time and money into my little beast to get her this far. So its really good to hear some positive feedback!! SpoonUte- good to see how cars compare Brad- Just waiting till i get some coin together for some serious brake/strut upgrades and my diff done. Before i get some wheels, Save having to buy another set when stud pattern change. Only deeadline to meet is Powercruise. So come check the car out and say hello everyone.
  24. don't pull the carpet up mate, Slide under the car and look for them you 'll see them on the floor pan then push a old sharpened up screwdriver through or something else up thin and sharp enough to piece the carpet.
  25. 4age,4agze ca18de/det sr29de/det There are 6 cly's that fit too the list goes on.
