Hey mate here's the story, I've got my ke70 and about half a 13b conversion for it just need a gearbox, A custom drive shaft, radiator and a fuel pump. I don't know if I should continue collecting parts and drop her off to you or scrap the project and buy a rx7... How much do you reackon it's gana cost me to get all the mounts made up ( I've also got a rx7 crossmember to cut up and what not) and have it sitting in there and I'll do the rest. Cheers mate

filled the wiper washer fluid botle up with diesel and Re routed my wiper washers to my back tyres brought a few bits and pieces from bunings and Now I have diesel squirters and can do phat skids in the ke70 any time I want haha

Hmm ok. Um it was a 12 but the engine was a mix and match sort of build it had 12a turbo housing and bridgeported plates and n/a rotas, I didn't build it so that's all I know

just brough a ke70 and it was shocking on gas and slugish, went and brought some carbie cleaner, new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filter, did the carbon trick..squirt water down the carbie checked tyre pressure...they were all like 22psi except for 1 which was 11psi so fixed it all up and boy you can feel the difference nearly 200km since i filled up last and its only hitting half way now, not to sure if my secondries are working tho how can i check ive looked down the carbie while giving it gas and can only see one jet squirting gas??

cheers guys great help the only other way ive seen it done was with my kp starlet it was mounted on the original 4k cross member (which was modified) and it was mounted on the center plate of the rotary, conversion is prety much a go now found a motor and hopefuly ill buy it on the next pay day and from there on just buy bit by bit, don't be shy keep the pics coming i need all the help i can get lol

Hey guys as the title says I'm just after some engine bay and engine mount pics from some RE ke's. Just so I can get a fair idea of how every one has mounted there rotas I personaly know of two or three ways but don't know which is easiest or cheapist, as I have found a 12a for sale.

I'm guessing cruises don't realy go off then?

I know back in n.z you had to get a cert to have wheel spacers, don't know what the story is over here in w.a, I have some bug chuncky spacers on the front of my 70, any one know what the story is here in w.a?

I'm not to fussed about the price it's going to be a slow build any ways so it will happen it bits and pieces, I've got a mate who's a qualified mechanic and a boilermaker who has his own workshop and I'm prety sure he will help me out as he does a lot of custom work.
