I know of a company back home in n.z that make's gilly kits for rotarys, k series motors, 4age/z motors. The company name has curently slipped my mind but will update when I remeber.

cheers guys ive checked all earths and wires and its never had a antenna, rca's are opposite side to battery cable as battery is the boot, will go hunt around for a noise surpressor any idea where ill get one??

As the title says seems like the alternator is putting a signal through my speakers when I give it gas the signal gets louder and louder. I have disconected the alternator while the Car is going and the stero goin and the noise stops. Replaced the alternator and it still makes the noise. Hooked up the multimeter to the back of the cd player both red and yellow wires are sitting around the 12.30volt mark I'm stumped any help would be great. Edited due to spelling mistakes lol

Hmm looks to me like the old bird welded the rear end up, cut the springs and went out on a skid mission, half way through a mad drift got some killer understeer and landed in the ditch, do it right guys lsd's and coilovers FTW. -
take it from a apprentice mechanic the money is realy realy shit ( 1st year $7.05h) you get treated like shit for the 1st year and a bit, even when your qualified the money is shit $20-28 a hour, best thing to do is a heavy mechanic apprenticeship, I'm looking into changing over soon.

Where ya from mate? Do you have all the parts needed? I've done two ke70 auto to manual swaps, sure the ae71 shouldn't be much different Other than the clutch master cylinder.

Woke up this morning to find that two 16s on the rolla had been slashed, also my neighbour had his ute tyres slashed as well. It's odd cause were the only two non Australians on our street and every over car on out street was perfectly fine....

I'm in the process of building a boosted 5k using a 4kefi setup I will be using 4agze injectors and a mt4 microtech, also my mate is using 4agze injectors and a link ecu. Hope that helps. U wouldnt happen to have any 4kefi spare parts??

i would love to see more rollas next year, only seen a few ke55 with a big v8 (think it was a lexus??) :dance: was for sale to guy wanted 9gs for it, ta22 celicas... there were a few kicking around white one on airbags, wantanbes, 2t with a nice big turbo hanging off it, been fed into a nice webber carbie :y:...(can provide pics if any one is interested?) would be great to have our own little corner for w.a rolla club members

My ke70 has developed a rather annoying diff whine, had it up the hoist today and removed the backing plate there was a bit of backlash/ delay when spinning the driveshaft, the spider gears looked a bit shagged but all teeth were there pinnion and crown looked ok, few things I would like to know a) what's the most common bearing to go in a ke70 rear end, axle bearings or pinion bearing as my whine is continuous even while coasting which are symptoms of both bearings, b) if it was from the slack within the spider gears would welding them together stop the whine? Any info would be great.

I got some cut mustang cobra springs in the rear of my ke70 stiff as. And normal cutties up front prety nice ride as it doesn't sit on bumpies

Wheels been balanced recently? Mine had the shakes to turned out to be two things lose wheel bearings and unbalanced wheels.

Any 1 got a cable k-t bellhousing they want to sell shortly? will need one for the 5k turbo.
