i drive a KE55 with an auto 3sp back an forth highways all the time at 100-110 i don't have a problem with the booming of engine noise when i put the foot down, i actually like it when i have to accelerate to over take someone cause it sends a nice mini beast roar which never fails to raise passengers eyebrows, even then its quite comfortable .. you surely will be able to hold conversations so its not bad at all.

nah no leaking of water through a wash just when i'm driving and its windy you can hear wind howling through the gaps of my windows, its no biggie just a thought for the future considering i'm installing a sound system in my car and as i'm going to the length of putting dynamat in the roof and under the car carpet might aswell think about getting rid of the wind noise aswell

quick question will installing new rubbers get rid of air from outside leaking into my car making a constant *wooosh* noise in my ke55?

Haha my girlfriend and i went and saw it last night even with some herbal mind lubrication parts of the movie dragged but it wasn't horribly bad can't say it was better then the first F&F or F&F:tokyo drift

Haha, yes indeed i was. yeah i'm down for a cruise tho i can't yet my foot is completely borked so moving anywhere is a pain and driving isn't fun (everytime i accelerate you'll hear me shreeking in pain) anyway hopefully the sound system will be installed in the next few weeks, gotta do something to the locks its dangerously easy to get broken into. anyone got ideas on what i can do to counter this?

Guess its time i introduce myself considering i pulled the trigger and got myself overrated condish rolla. I'm Pete Taylors lake area. from what i understand from the owner and this forum its a 1981 Toyota Corolla CS KE55 (feel free to prove me wrong) Everything is stock and was a one lady owner who bought it back in the day and only used it to drive from noble park to noble park shopping center and had only clocked 74 000km so pretty much when i go pick it up from Pakenham and drive it to Taylors lake it'll most probably the longest road trip this baby has gone on. I will be picking up Romero Rodrigo Radkid on wednesday (pictures are from the seller as i haven't picked it up yet) i have plans to install a sound system in it with the help of my girlfriends brother because it still has the stock speakers in them which you can imagine arnt very lively tho i know fairly diddly squat about cars so anyone in the area who could help would be rad also, lurking the threads about installing front speakers made me go dizzy just thinking about doing it myself to be honest. anyway, hey guys :y:
