  1. Found the reason. The Timing belt adjuster pully had siezed up and was wearing away the timing belt. Ended up ripping a few teeth off the belt and it slipped 180 degrees or something me old man said. Anyways she's all good and now reall damage to the engine, should be fixed by tuesday.
  2. Found the leak, bloddy rust all the way along the bottom edge of the glass. Might see how much it is to fix it but might just buy a whole new back door. Anyone got a decent boot door?:y:

  4. Its a AE92 and I've only owned the car for 2 weeks but out of a full tank ive used well over half in only about 180km. The power is still there but i've got nothing to compare it too except my old AE82 seca witch has a carby.

  7. Hey guys, I've been noticing my seca has been using quite alot of fuel lately and I'm wondering what to look for first? i noticed the fuel injecters swivel around loosely but I'm not sure if thats normal. i think the engine just needs a good tune up. its a 7Afe

  10. Yeah i was plannin on doing it myself anyway, thinking of going with dropzone springs and shocks but ill have more of a look around. cheers mate
  11. Yeah I've taken the rubber bung outta the wheel well for it to drain but the carpet in the back still gets wet and my speaker box soaks up the water as well. Ill try the hose on the seals anyway, cheers
  12. Hey, I've got a really bad leak in the boot of my seca witch fills up the wheel well with water wen it rains. I've checked the the seals around the door and also around the tail lights but had no luck. Any suggestions were its coming from? Cheers
  13. Hey guys, I'm looking at getting new springs and shocks for my 92 seca and I'm wondering who to go with and where to go? I'm also considering new mags if you got any suggestions for brands. I found these rims on Tempe tyres website and I think they would siut my car quite well. cheers, Nic :P

  15. yeah the excelleration is good and she goes fairly hard but i havent really put her to the test yet. giving it a full service today so ill find out tomorrow
  16. yeah the exhaust has been totally shifted around but I'm changing that in the not to distant future. there's nothing wrong with the cv's either so i wont need to change them too soon, nut i picked up a new boot cover this mornin and I'm just about to have a go at it myself. cheers and thanks for the advice guys
  17. Hey people, my names nic i recently boughta 92 seca for 3k. I previously owned a AE82 cxs seca that wasn't worth doing up and decided to upgrade. she's in fairly good nik and is worth spending a bit of doe on it. Current mods: -extractors -14 inch alloys -Kenwood head unit and speakers I've never really modified a car before and am just asking for a few pointers and suggestions. if yu can help it would be much appreiciated. cheers Currently painting interior I decided to change the interior to black and red ro match the paint job. So far i've only done half the dash, arm rests, door handles and top of the center console. I plan to paint the rest of the center console red and the door fabric as well. (Excuse the dodgy photoshop pics :D ) Let us know what ya reckon Cheers
  18. Hey, can anyone tell me how to change the CV boot covers? I recently took my new 92 model seca for a road worthy and the bloke found the boot cover had a hole melted in it from the exhaust. Its the only thing holding me back from transfering the rego over. cheers
