Fully finished with 20-1/2" shifter position was $900 + Gst, I paid for shipping from Sydney. Shipping cost $50.00 on Toll Tasmania sea freight.

I had to help stop the dams collapsing at the inlaws on Friday so that stopped me from working on the rolla. The good news is the exhaust manifold is finished. Will post pics when I take them.

Just a quick update: Finished all the fabrication work on my dash and now need to get it painted. This should be done in the next couple of weeks, looks sweet. I will post pics as soon as it is painted and back together. Got a RDO on friday and will be working on the old girl, I will try to remember to take pics of the gearbox mounts to post. With any luck the exhaust manifold will be close to finished as well, if so I will post pics. Fingers crossed I have more pics to post this weekend.

All you need to do is get a 2S or 2C bellhousing. This will couple directly to the 3sgte motor and the Dellow supra box. Trust me as Dellow is where I purchased my supra box. If you ring rolla spares or toyrolla they should have a bellhousing on the shelf. I got my bellhousing from Rolin Auto in QLD. They were all around the same price.

There was no modification to the tunnel at all, had the mounts made. I do plan on posting pics of these but will not get a chance to work on her till my RDO next week. Plan on pulling down the commodore diff I have for it to get it shortened and giving it a good clean for painting. I will hopefully be grinding back all the welds on the turbo manifold as well next week. Then onto manifold.

There is another bolt underneith that engine mount you can not see from that pic, there can be another bolt add to the top right corner of the mount you can see. The engine needs to come out again so I migh consider doing something with it. Thought about moving the engine back but would need a lot more mods. I want it to keep it as simple as possible for costs and if I decide to put back to original condition. It would need an absolute flogging to flex or crack that thickness plate. Its decieving from the pic but its prob 10-12mm thick, the department of infrastructure said they were fine.

Here there is a pic of the crank angle sensor, in car shot of where the gearbox sits and of the drivers side engine mount. It is a poor pic of where the gearbox sits in the car as there were thermo fans, intercooler mufflers and all sorts of shit in the car so I could not ake a good shot. I will and post it once I get some time next week. I will also get a pic of the passanger side but in the above pis you can see the turbo and yurbo manifold are in the way of a good shot. I have also learnt how to shrink the pic size so as i take more pics more will get posted.

As promised a pic of the turbo manifold. It is only the rough look to see how thing would fit. Now needs to be welded correctly.

Off the sheld from Australian Clutch (formely Adelaide Clutch). On the Gen 2 motor the stock standard flywheels is suitable. I opted for the chrome moly as it was lighter and looked better (not taht you see it). You do however with the chrome moly flywheel need to move your starter motor in about an inch as it has a slightly smaller O.D than standard flywheel. This was also a good thing as it gives more room for my turbo, turbo manifold and exhaust.

From southern Tassie. I will post a pic of the turbo manifold as soon as i get a chance, took the pic today. Also got a pic of the driver side engine mount to post. I will take a pic of the passanger side but the turbo and manifold were in the way when I was taking pics today.

Your 55 does look sweet. I have a bit of de javu.

The engine sitting in the old girl. It was poor weather today in Tasmania so I could not get any good pics of the mounts but will post better pics soon. In the middle of the valve cover in the middle is a crank angle sensor the engineer knocked up for me. Don't worry it doesn't stay there. I'm going to be running S15 SR20DET coils. Should look sweet. Still no progress with the dash but I just got a CD player for it so I can fit it and get the rest of the dash sprayed.
