  2. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but why would you bother keeping the 4k after all that work? Thanks Troy

  8. On the topic of cleaning up welds, do you guys reckon this is true or not - "once you die grind the weld clean, reweld it to add more strength..." I'm a bit iffy. And another one said to weld both sides? Thoughts anyone? Thanks Troy
  9. Hey I've recently been enjoying 4wd'ing, their creativity and just the fun they have and it has inspired me for my next project. Corolla for well not really 4wding just offroad stuff, but not rallying. Somewhere inbetween lol. But yeah, does anyone know of anyone who has already done this? Just thinking along the lines of - custom bodywork to fit big tyres, Supercharged V6, full roll cage etc. Just a bit of bush bashing fun....lots of thinking to do! So many ideas! So question - Anyone know of this being done, what they did etc. Thanks Troy p.s. I can't believe I posted this, too much discovery channel for me lol!

  15. You call that rust :) lol. But seriously, I'd advise against the wire wheel, I've found them pointless so far. Only way to go is angle grinder :pirate: But seriously, Demuire did you find wire wheels effective? Thanks Troy edit:said hahaha one too many times.

I'll get some pics sometime, I've got the Sidedraught manifold on the way. And am trying to get brakes sorted atm. The paint is slowly coming off, but I've run out of chemical stripper. lol. Thanks Troy
