thanks for the advice, how much should i pay for one of these ?? i was thinking 12k ( planning on buying at the end of this year, mid way if i have the $$$ still staving ATM as i don't want a car loan ). i know it will depend on k's driven on the the car and condition. but i mean for a good condition vehicle and roughply 100-150k's on the clock. Also soulsearcher do you have a pic of your engine bay for me to check out ? i'd love to see it. and how much did you pay for you i/c pipiing work ? you still have the oem cooler in it ?? I am interested in getting a 2001 toyota corolla sportivo turbo. Since the engine is stock AE112R with a turbo and intercooler added, i woudn't add any boost to it. But instead I had a plan of putting a bigger front mount intercooler ( any recommendations brands or 2nd hand oem from others cars ? ), shorter intercooler piping (with mandral bends) but larger in diameter on. And to put a pod filter directly onto the turbo. This way extra no stress is added tothe engine but just free up whats avaliable, what do you think ? and what gains would be able to be had ? also with these mods would a retune be nessaccary ?? i also toyed with the idea of an exhaust but i don't want it to be loud at all. EDIT: one more thing b4 i forget do you have to mod it to get the cool fluttering intercooler sound or is it like that stock ?? or so whats mods are required to get that sound ? i'm not talking about the BOV "psshht" sound. But the Brrrrmmm pow pow pow pow ( lol you know what i mean ).
