Missing At Idle And Occasionally Under Load
86ONE replied to Killswitch's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
I had exactly the same problem, was a faulty plug! :lock_folder: -
mines a 4k with 4 - 1 extractors and 2 inch with resonator and cannon. dunno if it makes any more power but it reached 110dB on a radioshack dB meter at roughly 3 feet away lol

I got my Heavy Duty Exedy from Coventry too! :P

Nah not hard at all really, it all just bolts on except the headlights. You gotts drill holes for the bolt threads and mine are only held in by 2 bolts on the outer sides of the surrounds. I gotta do somethin about that...

Hey Martin, nice KE70. I think 3rd pic across is the best. Good luck with the 4A-GE transplant, AFAIK total cost is around $2000. Probably depends where u get ur parts from etc...

"What do you think of my 'rolla: :paw:" Love it! :jamie:

What signature? I tried to hyperlink it and it shrinks the pic so i cleared it... :lolcry: Nah, i'll prolly end up gettin the car sprayed a nice baby blue or gloss white, and keeping the black bonnet and bootlid. :( It was ok, but everything was slanted back towards the windscreen and the grille had angled ends instead of straight. Eh, i used to have a big BBP sticker on my rear glass, until some dickhead(s) scratched it up one night and then i had to remove it. I'm not in BBP any more, apparently my rolla isn't good enough and "the tribe has spoken"... :(

'83 KE70: 187030 :( Doesn't "187" mean death? :lolcry:

Yeah, i learnt my lesson, don't attempt handbrake slides, IN TUNNELS! LOL :) NiteP]-[yRe: No other cars were behind me, it was like 4AM on a Sunday morning. :) I actually prefer the oldschool front end, and i <3 the black bootlid, looks like oldschool rice drifter style, lol! :( Just gotta get the damn headlights mounted more securely, panelbeat & respray in a nice light blue (but keep the bonnet and bootlid black). :(

Hey all, haven't posted lately... cuz i've been fixin me rolla, so i can drive it again! I was bein silly one night and my second cuisin suggested i try a handbrake in the Nundah tunnel, near Toombul, so i tried it... My conclusion: Speed + Turn + Handbrake + Cement Wall = Damage. Luckily because it's only a KE70, i got away with repairs cheap... Front left guard + bumper + grille + radiator shroud (never had one ^^) = $150 from Kellys Wreckers (Castledine). Rear quarter damage (didn't get any pics of front damage :(): $20 on matt black Export + a few hours later: What you guys think? Not too bad for a 1 person job? :D

It does? LOL! I'm goin through oil like a bitch, think my oil rings are gone... :pirate: Maybe if my clutch didnt slip so bad, i might be able to beat other rollas off the line... :)

OMG i can't believe i forgot to say what engine! :D It's a 4K-C... :) We took the rocker cover off to find the gap on no. 4 was much larger than the rest, trying to slowly tighten it down to atleast get rid of the annoying tapping noise. :D
-
Tightening rockers but don't have service manual. :D Tried search but couldn't find anything. :D Anyone know the gap between the rocker and valve? BTW: I know this should be in the mechanics section, but nobody is reading there and i need an answer asap!
