  2. cool, fair enough.....
  3. nah nah, was wondering what brand etc, like anything special?
  4. perfect fitment IMO ......... looks the goods Matt... what tires are you running?
  5. jealousy is an evil thing...... better weld those rims to your hubs Matt otherwise I may snake em lol......
  6. vinyl pillar trim ahy...... luxury spec :blinks: Yeah will flick you a txt about drinks on the week.... I did some work on the 86 yesterday... wait for it... I removed the rear bumper lol. When I can spare some change I'll have to get Terry round to see what he can do about my rear guards and a few other small welding jobs. (if your keen Terry?)
  7. Ah I see now, all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place..... Oh yeah if your keen for drinks on the 12th June I'm having a bbq/piss up down my ways, turning of age celebration etc...
  8. I swallowed my pride today and went down to Right Price for an exhaust quote..... I was met with the same unenthusiastic monotone approach, telling me what I need not what I want, and generally treating me like I don't even know what an exhaust does.... (jerks) I asked for the same system basically as you got done Matt, just with mandrel bends..... $780 was their price..... I walked out wishing I didn't even bother..... funny how you found them pretty good and I haven't .......................... meh, mild 2 wild seems to be the place I'm leaning towards at this stage.
  9. cool.... thinking if I should swallow my pride and hit the assholes up for a quote..
  10. oh yeah - how much did Right Price charge for the zorst if you don't mind sharing?
  11. Lol I wouldn't even waste my time dude, the Audi is slower than Ant Kellam"s piss poor service..... its a Joke to be honest. And after a wheel alignment today and finding out I have to replace the right front lower control arm because its on the verge of dropping to the pavement at anytime I'm a little sketchy driving it lol. Gota take care of that and a few other lil things then its back to the real toy.... :P
  12. I need to be taken for a joyride Matt..... inspire me lol....
  13. hott stufff
  14. Haha, yeah I don't think I'll be getting that done too soon, got a quite a few expenses to take care of by June and just bought a new daily which ate all my savings (Audi A4), add to that this whole week I'm off work due to going out on Sat night and waking up in the hospital Sunday morning in quite bad shape with no memory what so ever of what happened... ??? I consider myself broke indeed at least for the next 2 months.... Although my mate Scott (think you have met him once before) is moving back to Brissy next week and is amped to get his 20v conversion happening, so that's some motivation, I believe he would like the wiring services of Brad also, as he was pretty impressed with the magic he did on my car..... Is that air temp sensor from your loom is it? lol. Enough blabber from me though, I got to go and start fitting coilovers in the A4 today.... a fun job no doubt.
  15. Getting there mate, getting there........... your gonna be tearing up the streets of Brisbang before I am I know that much...
  16. wicked man......
  17. looking grouse Matt....
  18. Yeah I reckon I would just fit a barb fitting in the top pipe and run a hose for the bypass.... like I have now, just way neater. Tried calling Yager, but must be closed at this time of day... I'll try them again through the week.
  19. f@$k yeah, now I remember you mentioning the Nimbus fitting at one stage..... So since I'm running a RWD pump setup I would just remove the thermostat from the back of the pump and fit it in this, but then again I could just leave it as is couldn't I and just run this fitting as a normal top outlet.... That sound right? I always confuse myself with the coolant setup.
  20. sick progression man..... Oi' whats that top rad outlet consist of? as in who made it and does it line up with the stock rad hose? I'm really on the hunt for such a piece I can get that does so, if not copy.... Speaking to 'wideslider' on DC about his top outlet as its poifect, just a hassle to get one replicated... I don't really require anything bar the outlet (no bypass or any other jazz) as I will just fit a barb fitting in somewhere that suits.
  21. Yeah cheers Brad... I think I can live with it as I have a way of making it a lot less obvious, just need a plenum and I should be good.... if I get too disgruntled then I may try and tune each throttle... I've been getting back into mine also now, swapped the spark plugs and as we guessed the ones in there were f@$kin filthy, started and idles alot nicer after that. Just waiting on my lift pump to arrive and then I can put the new fuel pump in and surge tank. Hopefully that erase's that miss/cutting out issue I was having.. Anyways, back on to Matt's ride//
  22. cool, sounds simple and effective.. Not sure if Brad mentioned what we used on mine to ya.... (the ford 2 wire one) but still I'd prefer not to have it at all... I would really like to just calibrate it across each throttle with the adjustment screw on each.
  23. $70 f@$k.... Whats this idle control you speak of? Its probably the thing I hate most about my set-up... wont be so bad though when I have a plenum as I know how I'm going going to mount it etc.. I think.
  24. interesting............ it seems like that every time you need an alternative part, you find it on a camry of some form lol..
  25. Yeah trying to run the heater with this swap sucks.... Its too f@$kin crowded with shit at the back intake side corner... I ended up ripping my heater system out, planning to get a 12v heater fan to replace it and keep it legalish...
