Only takes about 19 hours to get to Brissy from Melb from when i did it last. 2 days easy. My family always used to drive to Surfers Paradise in 2 days, we'd make it there by 2pm on the second day. You'd have to spend a few days up there at theme parks etc. and pubs :y: very good looking people up there haha.

My 4k in my ke70, compared to my brothers 5k in his ke30: More overall power everywhere, beat me everytime not by much, but still enough If you don't really want to spend any cash on the car: not really worth doing unless you do something fatal to the 4k, even then you can literally swap any mods straight to the 5k no dramas. Otherwise, go a 5k if you want to build a crazy k motor.

Looks the goods mate, It would definitely be worth getting some extractors for it. The stocker ones are pretty shit. See if you can get your exhaust bloke to make you a decent set.

Got 8.3 in my Auto 4k, in ke70 at a constant 4000 revs.

get a free flow 2" so your 4age that you're going to buy will like it too. also, ba xr6s are way better.

If you just hit your Ps, you don't know how to drive yet. You NEED more experience first, have your first crash first, at least (everyone does). Learn how to "drive aggressively" in a paddock (don't need power at all) or on a track, in ideal conditions, with the least amount of risk, to you and your car. Edit: an AE86 with a 4age in will be ok :y: legal engine swap too.

You don't need to cut the beaver panel if you get the DX beaver panel. If it's standard Aus ke70 then you will need to cut a piece out. You don't need to drill any holes if you get genuine quad headlight with brackets. A fair bit of wiring too.
