  2. 80% sure it won't. Are you sure you're up to an engine conversion? If you don't want to spend the time doing little things like swapping tail shafts then you'll probably get bored of doing all the elongated tasks.
  3. Yay GOR! Definitely me coming +1 Maybe the SA boys to come also? We'll be doing the meet at Todd Rd Servo on the way up too. It will be hot, and some people won't want to drive for 8 hours back home. Australia day is always the 26th lol.
  4. For the record, the blue ke70 isn't welded, and its also an auto. Cars coming along!
  5. easiest way to do it, is to find an ae71 with a 4ac, then put the 4age in from an ae82. easy drifter. then you can go into the engine mods etc.
  6. pretty sure the ones in the front of my kesev are from an el falcooon.
  7. Update: Sorted out the main problems now. The crank angle sensor was sending pulses parallel with the reluctor. removed the crank sensor, and reconfigured the computer slightly. Now sending correct spark pulses. Need better insulated cable, The computer was sending spark messages, which began to oscillate just before the distributor. Carefully placed resistors confirmed this and allowed it to pulse correctly. Managed to get her running on the weekend! New better insulated cable going in on the weekend, mapping to be corrected, and she'll be running properly. Bought a rear sway bar, and New LCA's good for 3degrees camber. Left to do: New computer wiring Correct timing map Install sway bar and LCA's Install Bumpers Get seats reupholstered. She's getting there.

  15. I'm coming with brent, convinced paul to come to
  16. Update long overdue.... Some people may know I've been having troubles with the "doityourselfcomputergizmo" I successfully installed the computer, and mapped out the computer, with some load discrepancies (which will be fixed when I have her sparking properly). The problem I'm having at the moment: Computer reading that, at "real" rpm, It's sensing a second spark and thinking its at "fake" 25000(twenty five thousand) rpm, so the computer automatically advances the spark, as it should. Discovered that there is interference coming from inside the distributor. And that's where I'm at.
  17. agreed :y:
  18. A Twin Cam steering wheel will bring the wheel out further, alot easier to drive too, and more comfy. Only problem is that you'll have to take your hand off the wheel to play with the indicators and wiper stalks.
  19. If you want significant power, Turbo a Bigport. Car looks great! Keep up the good work.
  20. don't need the dog to keep people out haha.
