That's what I thought, but I've got white cs model and its light blue and then I've seen hardly other interiors the light blue??

Hi guys just wondering what model/s came out with the light blue interior on the ke70? I'm trying to find a couple of parts that are looking abit old and mine and can't seem to find it anywhere.

What size rims ya running there red? I'm looking at purchasing some rims soon and will be flaring guards like you have so I'm def liking the offset you got there.

Sorry just I know this is bringing back up all post's, but since I have to replace a faulty valve. If/when I do the Cam is there anything I will need to replace? I'm looking at the Tighe 113 and I have solid lifters.

Alright well I suppose there's good and bad news. I have solid lifters which is the good but bad is valve. Ah well parts are covered under warranty just had to pay for or install myself. Say I go for the cam at the same time do I buy new cam or take my out and they regrind that? And anything else I may look at upgrading while the motors apart?

Ok well without taking the motor apart i've had the old man and me uncle check it out! There saying coz I smelt exhaust fumes before the problem and the way the car sounds and runs could be the exhaust outlet. But he and the oldy are taking off the rocker cover the check

Yeah I thought head gasket as well but checked coolant levels and no bubbles when cold or milky oil so I mean until I do test I wont really know but just assumed it would be something else. I'll keep ya updated tomorrow after I nick down to Supercheap and buy me a compression tester. P.S how about cam install something that would be recommended?

Yeah swapped lead and plug over but nothing, just had RAA out here to check on my work but he said the same thing. Need to get a compression tester and check the cylinders that make sure, obviously if that fails then start pulling apart and checking to see what the problem is. It is under warranty for parts only but I suppose the company I bough the motor off are going to want a mechanics report saying what the problem is. If it is valves are they something a NOVICE (and yes that was meant to be in capitals) could do?

Yep swapped lead and plug over just to make sure last night but no difference. Swapped them naack left the plug in the lead put it near some metal and there was plenty of spark. I was touching the metal on the internal of the coil. Checked for water everywhere so I thinking it may have been coincidence, I have just have it dyno tuned so u may have been testing its abilities so I'm guessing that may of caused some problems.

Well checked everything and cylinder 2 ain't coming back up so I think it may be something internal ie valve or valve springs

Yeah thought itncould be that so checked the spark on the lead and it have me a shock lol

I have a recon 5k motor and have recently had it Dyno'd which was running perfect after. I stupidly washed the engine down without covering anything. It was miss firing so I cleaned out bay and changed plug then it ran fine, know its dropped cylinder 2 again. I thought sticky valve so gave it engine flush but nothing. Please help I'm stuck.

Ok so the tighe 113 or possibly the crow 606 would be my beter options. These are gunna be fine with the engine being stock apart from the externals like carbie and extractors? Anyway reconmend some1 to install and supply?

Well got it dyno'd got 50rwkw but now its a very nice and smooth clean running. Do want the more power though so decided cam the way to go. I've looked into what I can find with my poor searching skills but what would some1 reconmend for mild lumpy idle with bottom end torgue more then top end speed and I live in metro Adelaide so fast isn't really an option.

Yeah thanks mate, have read up on that but wanted to see what people though would be worth doing and on a newly recon motor if its worth doing all the stuff in there, as my first post said.

Awesome Guys thanxs heaps for the info. Heading to bali for a couple of weeks but when I get back I shall look for a Repair manual and do me research on the cams. thanks again :P

LOL yeah sorry guys forgot to add I'm a big time novice, all this time about ports and replacing cams goes over my head. knowing what they are is one thing but then knowing where and how to replace upgrade is another. I wanna attempt myself to save and learn about the car but when I say learn I mean from get go as is never ever seen inside a motor. Also Being a recon motor is it worth trying to clean ports and valves up?

Ok as the title says I have a 5k newly recon motor in the KE70. Current mods: extractors, 36/32 carbie, 5 speed box and exhaust system I'm hoping the get more power out of my car but to also learn more about my car and cars in general. I've read the how to build a tuff k motor and it goes in to great detail of the amounts of possibilities I have to which I can do. I was hoping some1 could tell me that something a novice could do to my internals to gain that bit more out of my motor? Sorry about the layout of the post Engrish aint my strength thanks Scott
