no :) I'm missing the parker lights too, will have to wait two weeks for them to get here. what else am I going to need to make the conversion easier? in the packaging i got it came with a whole bunch of plastic lugs and screws. uncle can help me adjust beaver panel, but what are the details of that?

cleaned, but not very well, my ma61s today at the car wash with high pressure. put the rear two on just to see what they're look like. pretty stoked with them on the car, gives me more motivation. will put new tires on eventually cos current ones are fried. also here is a photo of what i got from indonesia> [
-
thanks so much for doing that for me. clearly ill need new jdm parkers, but i can get those brought home for me by someone else. the photo makes it so much clearer in my head cos its hard to remember details like that. bought a set of ma61s as well, i'll go pick them up when i get home tomorrow and spend the arvo polishing them :D
-
indeed. saturday is winton so at least i have something to look forward to >_< not to mention unpacking and realising how much stuff i actually bought home. typical girl.
-
alright cheers for that. i did some looking around and reading myself and it seems to be quite similar, and even if its not, it can't be that hard to make it fit with brute force :bash: after all it is only plastic. fingers crossed it works, if not i have contacts here that will bring me home what ever i want. woot. today is technically my last day here because tomorrow arvo i go home on the overnight flight which will be a killer. i will miss car part shopping
-
little misunderstanding. i don't have the parker lenses as the guy i spoke to told me that mine will fit into the surrounds i bought from him. i can always go back and buy others if i need to, but i'll HAVE to do that tomorrow because I'm running out of time quickly. photos are hard here, I'm in a hotel without a ruler and the stuff is all packed up ready for the plane in the car which is down in the carpark lol everything takes time in indonesia, stuff is rarely instant :bash: can anyone confirm info re: quad light conversion . . . . . .
-
there was a lot of confusion about that due to language barrier. the holiday was already cheap already so i don't mind >_< the guy told me mine would be find but i doubted that. so what exactly do i need extra? beaver panel is out of the question. so it turns out i need parker lights? or JUST the lenses? because i'm fairly sure they guy i bought them off had the lights youre refering to.
-
haha i KNEW that would happen. i seriously don't have luggage space or else i would be stock piling car parts. i have bought SO much stuff here because it's all so cheap compared to home.
-
$50 = quad lights. left and right light surrounds and grille. how much would that cost at home? turns out third world countries are good for some things
-
in indonesia at the moment. will post up photos when I'm home of the malls with whole levels devoted to car parts  it will make you all jealous. today i bought a quad light conversion for my car, minus beaver panel because i can't find it here. also bought ma61s at home, they should be on the car in a few weeks, after road worthy is done, with stretched tyres >_< it may or may not have cost me $55 for the original toyota jdm set up, brand new unopened packaging. :bash: photos up asap.
-
yep, $500. i'll post up once I'm home the details of roadworthy. it should all be fine since i've replaced parker lenses and fixed wheel bearing issue, theres nothing else i can find that would be an issue, no leaks anywhere  if it doesn't pass i'll be quite surprised.

thats my dads car, austin healey bj8. and yeah you would of seen it around that area.
-
haha yeah, i can't find pegasus' that are the right offset and width that i want anyway. probably get pair of impuls, borrow some advan oni's and find/buy a full set at a later date.
-
yeah i love those as well. I'm borrowing a pair of advan oni's from a friend, i really like them as well. maybe i'll buy a pair of each. too many decisions to be made with this car haha.
-
i think youve won the prize for cheapest price for fairly good condition. well done. green sure will be eye-catching thats fo' sho'. good luck with it. Leah.
-
i'm thinking about buying a pair of pegasus'. what do people think? i like the look of something different to what most people have. i also think these wheels look clean, as appose to meshies which can sometimes look too busy in my opinion. Just an idea. . .
-
just so you know. . . .still jealous. . . . :P
-
Should have brand new parker lenses on this week, maybe tomorrow or friday. Currently deciding on suspension set up and the possibilities of changing steering arms etc etc Updates should be here soon.
-
troll doll is looking like a winning idea there ;) can't stand the look of a dash cover. i'd do the drill thing if the crack was bigger though. thanks for the advice everyone!
-
there is no chance that would EVER happen where i live. that's such a cool thing to see! you're lucky, but i bet you get sick of it hey.
-
Spotted blue ke70 at holmesglen maccas carpark today at 2pm.
-
just read through your thread for the first time. you've done such an amazing job. congratulations. i wish i had skills even CLOSE to that. So impressed! Leah.
-
Thanks man. Yeah a lot of people seem to be jealous of it, especially cos it was SO cheap. Thus is the beauty of buying things from people who don't know what they're looking at :yak: Also, what's Gun Wash? I've never heard of that before. And where would i get what ever it is? I'll silicone spray my new hoses when i put them in, no point wasting time with the current ones, they're pretty ruined.
-
its a 35deg day today so my morning was spent with a mate cleaning the engine bay (thanks thompson :yak: ), until it got way too hot. it come out pretty nice i think, but I'll feel much better about it with minor things changed. to do:: two new radiator hoses change the oil change the coolant new water reservoir, mine is full of grime and off looking moldey shit, maybe a clean will fix it. new oil filter new spark plugs carby cleaner i can't wait for it to get a rwc so i can actually start changing shocks, springs etc. before::: i forgot to take one just before we started, but its still dirty here::: after::: what do you people think? good/bad? Suggestions?
