hey guys... i have a ke70 87 i think. no the propblem is that i can turn them on and well they wont come on.... but if i push the stem down a little and leave it they will come on.... go ver a bump and they turn off... now the odd thing is ..... they stay on when i have the left indercator on:S and also if i hold the stem back on high beam but not if i push it forwards lol... guessing its not a common problem but if anyone can helpi would be muchly apreciative. maybe if someone has a headlight wiring diagram i can check some stuff or what not.... its just kind of a problem if I'm driving around town at night as I'm just about to get my license back saturday coming and i don't wanna get booked for having y headlights not on when well they would be on haha cheers Nichy

does it turn over? mine was;t starting at all and wouldn;t turn over and the brake light was coming on.... turns out to be the alternator.... as the battary is brand spanking new. you can do a voltage test on it if you know how..... if not multi metet... have the car running chuck it on the termanals ( the bits that bolt onto the battary not the silver bits) look at the reading... mine was 10.4v .. give it a rev.. at about 300rpm or so it should kick up to around 13.8-14.2v or around there... if not .. alternator is stuffed. hence battary not getting charged and car wont start.

checked that... they seem fine.. :y:

hey all... new to this forum but been on boostcruising and Nissan silvia for a while now ... anyway as the title says ... i have just brought a ke70 with a 4k.... runs smooth and all that stuff but it wont turn over :y: tested the alternator and its fine.... it was just working one day.l.. then the next it wasn;t ... what would be some things to check?
