Thats another good point, how are you supposed to see cars behind you when they are sooooooooo far away up on the guards. Not a fan of jap guard mirrors. Love the whitewalls though, it would set yours off nicely, oh and give it a good detail, then show us the pics, of the purple beast I mean.

Nooooooooo. Guard mirrors are a crime, they look silly sitting way up the front in no mans land. :(

Have you checked the timing. points, plugs, oil and filter. If it's not performing well then check these things first and replace if necessary. :)

I agree with simon, keep the 5K in it and just bolt on twin side draught webers and have some fun. :) You'll be suprised how well these motors go. :) Oh and replace the 4-speed for a 5-speed box, much better for highway cruising.

Or Bridgewater, claremont etc :) worth a shot. :laff:

You need to paint the front panel around the headlights black, as it makes the grille stand out more when put together. :D

I still have my 1977 KE30 sedan for sale. All complete and runs well, 3k trimatic auto, very tidy, no rego Wouldn't take much to get back on the road as a lot of the mechanical parts have been reconditioned or replaced with new parts. $650 :) :P

Hi guys. I just had a look at my first 1972 ke20 4-door sedan thats right, a 4-door sedan today in LowHead. It's owned by an old couple and was imported from NewZealand. It's last registered in 2005 and is a 3k 2-speed auto with 65,000 original miles and is orange in colour. Interior is very very tidy and has the ke25 interior options, ie undershelf tray and plastic over the lower part of the dash. Has drum brakes all round and is all complete down to the original wheelcaps. It does need a fair bit of work, mainly mechanically and some rust issues in guards, bumpers and chassis. :no2: :( If anyone would like more info or a contact number please reply. As I said would require some restoration work to be spot on. :P Cheers, Mark

A common noise and wear issue on subaru's are swaybar links and also calipers can rattle over bumps, get a lot of that at work. :wink:
