ah ok. for a start i'm located in south perth. considering its manual and actually drives quite well i'd say someone would probably pay anywhere from $1000-$1500 for it. i'd take money for it, for sure. would rather have swapsies though. it really is quite a nice shell, it'd be quite easy to do a closed door respray in the o.g colour and have a really nice presentable car. it genuinely is quite straight and almost rust free.

manual vl in reasonably good condition. bad; the paint is dull bonnet colour doesnt match the body 100% manual steering air con doesnt work electric window switch is tempremental really gay loud exhaust that sounds very commodorish front tyres are bald good; its very straight almost no rust has calais interior, sideskirts, moulds, electric window, tacho dash drives really well its licensed for another month or so its manual cd player has aircon, needs a belt and gas turbo brakes turbo fuel pump has been over pits a couple months ago i'd like to swap it for something. as long as its rego'd. can't hurt to ask i definately wont be offended!

ah good to hear your still goin with the project then. i gotta wait for another month or so for motor #3 which just blows. who fitted/modified your diff for you mate? the hangers on my hilux diff have been moved, but i don't think they're spot on. when i get the car running i'd like to take it to a place and figure out whether they need to be modified again or left as is. i'll get veem to do the tailshaft flange when i get the shaft shortened. bloody corollas.

ay mate, exactly what vacuum nipples are you talking about? my old motor was ae92 afm 4agze, the new motor is ae101 map 4agze but I'm still using the old ecu and wiring. we got her running but it wont idle & runs shitty. could very well be air leaks causing the problems..

sorry man, i really, really, really disagree with a 5k being "worth it" i put a 5k into a ke35 i had a year or so ago, and it sucked. 10% more powerfull than sweet f@$kall in complete honesty. you see people with decked out 5k's and they make bugger all power, and would never, ever be able to compete with a 4age, let alone a 4agze. i gots the 4agze now and its good. i beat kids in s13's, s14's and s15's. i beat a kid in a rb25det cefiro and many many commodores. then i killed the motor. haha. but yeah. 5k swap took a weekend. 4agze swap is not so easy. still, i'd rather spend 6 months to put a DECENT motor in that you'll enjoy. trust me mate, you'll love it when your car is running.

yeah mate, emmet from melville. on another note, when you fitted the hilux diff to madtoy, did you get an extra leaf put in or anything to stop axle tramp?? as soon as i get back to perth i've got a 4.3 hilux lsd waiting to go in, but I'm not sure if the weight of the diff will be enough to stop the tramp. let us know mate -caibs.

got the sisters birthday on the 14'th and the missus' birthday on the 15'th. f@$k em I'm not missing out on a ride this time.. (i still hear stories from emmet when you took him for a ride in it!!) ahaha in regards to the gen3 business, have you got the motor and ancillaries already? maybe you should just chuck a cam in it and get it running before fiddling with turbo ideas? although if you can fabricate the gear yourself, which it sounds like ya can.. why not take it easy

ke35 rear end is horrid, you got those ugly lights aye. I'm not a huge fan of the vents, but they don't bother me that much. that original pic isnt a ae70 sprinter as someone said, i owned one of them (can find pics) and it didnt look like that at all.
