As above.... I have found a pedal box but in a panelvan and I want it for my sedan. Surely there would not be any difference?? Advice please...............

Clutch kicks and I am guessing skids on the streets.... Any wonder I get pulled over in my totally stock Nana Spec AE71. Anyway dde enjoy it while it lasts. I saw this when I picked up some wheels off the guy, looked nice and clean.

I too have seen this machine at you Pull It. Before you all completely jizz your pants over it perhaps consider why it is there. It has been impounded by the looks of it for being parked in one place for too long, or abandoned, or stolen. Why would someone abandon something that pimp you ask?? Probably because it is not so pimp. It either has a farked motor or it is defected. I see no defect sticker on there but there has to be a reason why someone would abandon something like this or not at least enquire about picking it up after it has been impounded. Even if you were too poor to pay the tow fee to get it back you would sell your ass on the streets to pay to get it back. So there must be something wrong with it. Other than that it has a fair bit of rust in most places from what I could see. Just my thoughts on this mystical Corolla. I asked the guy at you Pull It about it and he said they sit there for ages. It will be stuffed if it sits out there for much longer all summer long. :P

Ok I have just bought lowered springs for my AE71, two inches all round. I am wanting to replace the shocks at the same time to save work. Apparently not many (or none) places make shocks for AE71. There must be another Toyota alternative. Does anyone know which ones I buy and if I have to modify anything what do I need to do?? PS. I do not wish to replace whole strut assemblies etc as I already have the springs etc. I bought them brand new so changing them over is not feasible.

If you wish to sell the 4AC gearbox which I am assuming is manual hook me up. I will pay good $$$ for it and help you out on your way to 4AG goodness. I want to do a manual swap badly.... :P

Pick up the telephone and ring them, or if you are still not convinced go and have a looksie. Apparently the guy on the telephone there is useless and if you ask him if they have something he says they do. So prob best to go down there, they will have other stuff you want anyway.

At Just Wrecking Toyotas on the weekend I saw a KE30/55 sedan there that looked to have a decent rear bumper on it. Rest was fuxored though. Had a jdmstyletuning.com sticker on it so obviously owned by some younger person in the know. :P Anyway, thought someone on here might be interested in it. I'm not familiar with Ke30/55 so unsure of exact model sorry :)

Karl, Mine does not have white wheels or lowered. Mine is silver with the standard alloys and venetian in the rear. I am lowering it and changing wheels etc soon. Will start my own thread then. Am keen to see your new shell start to come together.

Went to this earlier today. Good cruise and good to meet some of you there, seem like a friendly bunch. I only stayed to the turn off at Myponga. Driving a 3 speed auto at 110 on your own with no radio is not that fun!! I was the guy with the Silver AE71 with Venetian, etc. Next time I will be out with a few more mods completed so will be good to get it out again. Oh that beige KE70 is pure hotness, well done man!!

Hey Karl Nice rig. Whereabouts in the hills are you?? I'm in Woodside and have a Silver AE71. I'll keep an eye out for ya in my travels!! There are quite a few rolla heads around our parts. I always get a wave in my Rolla, loving it :dance:

Work out how to fit my sun visor :P .... Get headlight protectors, weather shields, and lower and whitewalls. That's going to be about it. It's auto, stock as and comfy. It was the first time I really got out in it on Sunday and was loving just cruising around in it lazy styles!!

The Corolla Scene on here seems to be quite good from what I have seen in my limited time on here. This place is also quite chilled which I like. There is another forum "name unmentioned" which gave me the feeling that all Corollas in Adelaide need to be whored out and owned by people with next to no money and no taste. Thank god for this forum!!! Anyway, I look forward to meeting some of you guys at the cruise on Sunday 29th. Hopefully there are some good rolla's on the cruise to restore my faith that Adelaide actually has some decent ones. PS. My comments above are not meant to be inflammatory. It's just some observations I have made. This place actually seems quite chilled and I plan to spend a bit of time here and learn a bit, etc. I will put up a thread on my Nana AE71 soon once I have done some more to it. It's pretty stock at the moment, needs more Nana parts.

Spotted a white KE20 going up Greenhill Road yesterday arvo. Mitch?? Nice KE20 man, love it. I was in the Silver AE71 with the venetian on board. I have a few other goodies for it I haven't put on yet. I desperately need to lower mine and get the whitewalls cranking!!

Nice, very nice. I have a Silver one of these, similar granny spec, auto, stock etc. Where did you get the lawn bowls sticker from?? I bought a sun visor and venetian for mine brand new which I am about to put on. Let me know if you want to know where to get them from. You can also get headlight protectors, weather thingys so you can smoke real 80's styles, all sorts of stuff for these things to make them full 80's spec. I will start a thread on mine once I have all the bits together and the white walls, etc. Are you bringing this to the cruise on the 29th?? Would love a peek in real life. :jamie:
