Yea I would not ever go through toyo spares, but my mechanic who has always done well by me went through them. I will not be going to this mechanic ever again!!! However now this has happened this 4k will only be a temporary engine, will try and get the 5k back, rebuild it, sell both of them off and go either 4agze turned into a 4agte or a 13bt

Yea so it seems,If i wasnt having all these health issues I would have done all the work myself, I helped my dad do the same thing when he had his ke55, but i spose health is more important at this point

Yea that might be the best way, being sick and in out of hospital is something I can't help, and I'm barely back at work, so this could be my best case scenario for now, as long as I am ready for the Great Ocean road cruise

Yea well toyospares were the ones who said they had a 5k, and apparently they are taking my5k engine, uh uh no way are they taking the 5k I am going to rebuild it with my dad! This is an outrage!

Yea i just called them and 550-600 is the going price with them, so I am going to see if i can source another 4k and make him pay the difference

just called toyo spares and they can't even tell me how old this engine is or how many km's are on it, and its straight out of an import car, so no details on it at all!!! I'm going to do some more research and then call the mechanic back

600!!! I am really not happy at all!!! I was promised the 5k and this is what happened, and now he has almost finished putting it all in, so its too late!!

I just got off of the phone with my mechanic.... NOT HAPPY Its costing me the same amount, and all I'm getting is a 4K!!!! Not the 5K I was promised! Will there be much difference in power?? I am extremely annoyed!!!!

Hi guys, I should have my car back this week, and I am looking at changing the lights in my dash as they are extremely dim at night time, what would be the best type of globe to use for this? I don't want any silly bright lame colours, just something that will be a nice standard brighter light

Sweet another 20! I blew my 5k the other day hahaha new one is in the way, maybe this is an excuse to rebuild the old one to get some decent power figures hehe

does anyone know if a 5k engine from TOYOSPARES in melb would be a recoed motor or just a pull out and sold as is? just not sure what I am getting :S the mechanic has organised it all

Well my 5k decided to blow up, so I have another one on the way, should be all up and running by next week =] which means I should be on this one :D should I leave the twins on or off... hmmmmm

Well guys I killed my 5K! BUGGER!! it decided to throw a conrod through the bottom of my engine However, I have already gotten onto another 5k which should be here by next week, then dumping it in and changing over the twin webbers, get her tuned and I will be back on the road. But i will most likley be selling it once it is fixed. So keep an eye out for it guys, as it is a neat KE20

Yea I do, But I also have a brand new car battery as well :( so do you think it would still be that?
