  1. yep lol, no pick up pump no fuel tank, just filled the surge tank up with a funnel and blocke the return and feed lines off, went for a squirt up the road in it with a mate and i can't believe how fast it is, its insane !! was all fun till a farmer called the cops haha.
  2. Also having the stupidest problem, u can't get the nut off the diff to fill it with oil , I swear some people think it holds the fkn car together !!!
  3. So I got impatient today and dodgeyd up the fuel system just to get the big girl running again, had the rear box taken off so it was just a cat and a hot dog lol, insanely loud and sounded terrible, I got a vid of it running but will have to wait till I'm near a computer to upload it, next up is prepping the inside of the car for paint, which I will start on Friday and hopefully have it painted next week. Getting the rest if the car painted by a good friend if mine.
  4. Love This, so clean and simple, it doesn't have a million things hanging off it like lips fender mirrors or weather sheilds, love it !! Any more progress on the big girl??
  5. Haha thanks guys, either way its getting the mig treatment as well :P
  6. Here is a pic of my open t series..
  7. I know this, but is this an LSD? Can you tell if it is just by looking at it? It doesn't look like any other s series I've seen before..
  8. can anyone tell me if this is an LSD just by looking at it? pretty sure its an s series as the carrier has 8 bolt holes. I've done a burnout with this diff and it span one wheel all the way to third.. when jacked up only the wheel that is being spun will turn, the opposite side stays still.

  10. Flared the front guards out today while the missus attacked the rear quarter with a spray can lol
  11. And I wonder why I'm broke all the time hahaha
  12. Ran out of gas today :( but I got a bit of welding done, finished welding the boot floor to the rear end, fibre glasses the fuel flap, started panel beating and welding the inside of the flares and run out of gas, got two of the 4 links on and put the sway bar on. Hopefully I'm heading over to wagga soon so I can get all the fuel hoses and oil hoses sorted.
  13. Did a bit if work on the Rolla today and had a heaps of parts show up, I wasn't happy with the way the boot floor was so I cut the seam off that goes behind the rear bar and welded it properly, welded up a dip thing for the fuel cell, fitted my short shift kit and stared at my awesome new parts from t3, still nee to get fuel hoses and oil hoses for the remote oil filter kit, but I'm going to wait till I have an oil cooler as well. The gaps are terrible on the quad lights I know, but its only temporary as I'm making the custom front end soon and I just didn't want all the parts lying around, plus I just had to see them on the car :P.
  14. The welder set me back $1250 and I got it through an engineering shop I used to work at, so not sure how much rrp would be.. I'm pretty sure this offsey would fit standard guards with just a roll without a problem, I wish I didn't have to do the front on rears but the standard guards were rusted out badly
  15. Yep I'm definatley going to paint it but that will come last, and you're not wrong I can't wait to drive it lol, I live a fair bit out of townn now so I should be able to get away with testing her on the road so I might get a video, thanks for the kind words guys its always good to get some motivation to get her finished lol
  16. So finally got some panels, my fuel pump and filter rocked up, New radiator is here, quad lights are in even though they need some adjusting they look pretty good.. cars sitting in its new home so once I've got a few days off I'm going to attack it with the grinder and welder again, thinking about making a custom radiator support which will be removable, have to make custom mounts for the radiator because its a m 52mm and won't sit on the mount. will get some happy snaps soon when I get a chance, its 4 in the morning and I don't finish work for another 4 hours :(
  17. You should see the amount of weld I put into my spider gears, and I thought it wasn't enough lol, she looks like a hell of a lot of fun but mate good work, can't wait to get mine going might see u on the track
  18. The beige bandit, looking very good indeed although not a fan of the spottys, can't wait to see more progress on this, cheers Dion.
  19. whiteline 20mm rear adjustable swaybar, heim jointed 4 link kit, heim adjustable panhard bar, heim adjustable caster rods, short steering knuckles and beefy tie rods all ordered from the states, will wait till they show up and for my wallet to recover and than ill buy the other half of the suspension.. moving the car when i get time off work and than finishing my fuel system and makin an exhaust up for her.. also waiting on my fuel pump and filter, the last bosch 044 shit it's self. :n: quick happy snap taken with the htc velocity..
  20. haha thats the one, i need a shortened tail shaft for the t series diff anyways so i am pulling out the standard s series or what ever it is and doing that centre too, see how long it lasts and than put the new one in. i also went on a shoppin spree and ordered a new radiator, 4-links, adjustable tc rods and a whiteline sway bar for the rear.
  21. new fuel cell, need the fittings and a new fuel pump. custom MIG centre, tempered in the oven at 280 degrees for 2 days lol. gotta get that exhaust lifted up, going to dump it at the diff.
  22. got my self a reel and some gas today and got stuck into a bit. put to much heat into the fuel flap and warped the panel but ill get it straight again  going to stitch weld any seams that i feel like doing, and also weld the seams between the boot floor and the wheel tubs, just to make the whole body and chassis more rigid. got 3 12 hour shifts so wont be doing to much too soon :n:
  23. FINALLY !! get some real work done now :y: except ive gotta wait for wire and gas to show up now :n:
  24. haha yes finally someone who likes it !!
