  2. 300rwhp calais turbo :jamie:
  3. ive always found dellow to be good. i have never heard of bearings spinning from anything other than oil starvation
  4. If you really want safety you wont cut them at all. That aside the thing that is most dangerous about chopped springs is the fact that nobody uses shortened shocks. That allows the spring to simply fall out if the suspension is fully unloaded. This is the catch 22 of chopping springs because by chopping you cause the car to bottom out the suspension frequently, that causes a bounce, that causes the suspension to unload and your spring may fall straight out.
  5. thats a pretty poor attitude to have mate. especially considering the slow turnover rate of this forum the last thing it needs is a mad mod scaring people away. maybe chill out a tad :jealous:

  16. hahahahaha. australia, the chicken is ready! i know what you mean about the 202,but a bathurst xu1 should never be touched unapropriately lol.oh and a 202 sporting tripple webbers definately aint what id call wheezing;) here is my bros lc with 202 :) it makes 256rwhp before the nitrous is switched on and if you were to be there when it starts up you would never look at a 202 the same again
  17. lol you will be burned at the stake for molesting a bathurst xu1  they should be left original  and yeah it should haul ass.got the 28x10.5x15 slicks to help traction aswell. i will keep you guys posted as i progress
  18. my engine has found a home :jamie:
  19. On the intake you have no restriction and have boost to assist cylinder filling. On the exhaust you have the turbine in the way and no boost to assist cylinder clearing. Bigger exhaust valves are always required before bigger inlet valves in turbo engines looking for more power.
  20. lol.i was just thinking how good 3 exhaust valves would be for turbocharging.damn it!
  21. ok.4cyl newby at work.:jamie: does anyone have pics or can explain to me how you get 20 valves in 4 cylinders? thats like 5 a pot lol. very wierd. from reading around a bit in the last few days to me a 20v head on a 4agze block seems the go.what compression will that give?
  22. thanks man,I'm pretty keen to stamp some 2l numbers on the block and go for it hey
  23. ive just found a rb20 block for $150.the blocks are almost identical. hmm with those numbers it could all be done :jamie:
  24. yeah oh well back to my vl lol. might sell up when i run a few 10's and get a rotary in a ke55. is a 13b turbo legal?
  25. yes it all looks like its becoming a bit of a pain. ive always loved the ke55 shape, and would love to do it. 300rwkw is fun fun fun:). nothing like breaking traction at 120kph :jamie:
