  1. The guy driving the Nissan Cefiro did a skid then fled from the cops Thoughts and opinions, I myself think hes a massive tool for doing it on rundle street! If it was on a track then i don't think people would care but on the road and where its busy as hell NO DICE! have a look at the vid

Hey your lucky its a 4 speed and not a 3 lol Karl.
  3. Just realised that i havent updated with piccies in a while :D So here u go :D
  4. :P I have a question... As your revs gain, does your boost stay stable or does it drop off or spike at all? Karl.
  5. Even my less than 2 month old turbo has that little oil in the mouth its normal blow-by. Is it doing it on start up in the mngs? or only when driven hard, check input and drain lines maybe. Karl.

Spotted this This arvo on Railway tce? rd? Mile End anyway. The Exhaust has 2 tips near the black marks on his rear bar amd plates of BREAK 3 Karl.
  7. Well mine are just the right size to sit pretty between the Head Unit and the bottom of te surround. I'm not too sure what to do to fill in the gap atm tho. Karl.
  8. I don't think the standard manifolds are crap due to higher boost levels, its just their design. If u ever take off the heat shield, you'll notice a little webing like features between the 4 pipes of the manifold, they tend to fracture around that area and therefore weaken the rest of it and crack right the way around. This smell you are smelling is it like something is rather hot or actually burning because its natural for them to give off a bit of a smell due to the heat of the turbo. Is it when your driving hard or just cruising? any particular time of day? Karl.
  9. Haha as in make it up properly out of something stronger and hard wearing such as metal! lol Nope my pod is larger than most and fits perfectly, even with the guard put back where it belongs. Karl.
  10. haha yeah il see if i can scab one for you. Ive got my guages mounted like this It works really well cause your not straining to see a guage if its mounted somewhere else.

haha not even 1 week back on the road and Lesley has been spotted. Karl. EDIT: also spotted 2 mustard yellow 55's and a 70 i think, me and Lesley were stuck in traffic and were looking about lol
  12. no no get rid of the standard setup all together! Ive used a couple of 90degree bends with straight pipe and another 90degree bend going to the air filter, if you can imagine on the left hand side of the engine bay near the washer fluid bottle thats where the bends are sitting (it actually rises above the radiator just a bit) and then turns down between all the belts and pulleys and goes between the gap in the guard there where the pod sits, its almost like it was made for a CAI  lol. Then I glued it all together made sure none of the glue got on the inside sprayed it black and there ya go :hmm: haha mine is hardly pretty but it works, so once i get it made up properly il post pics. I was just speaking to a friend who is going to help me to make my CAI properly and i want to do it this weekend possibly maybe have it done by the start of next week. So il be able to post pics for you >| Karl.
  13. Exhaust looks the goods can hardly see it! i kinda like it. Have you noticed any gains from doing it? Karl. EDIT: where have you mounted your boost guage??? Double Edit: Heres a couple photos of Lesley's car although you can hardly see the intake itself its well hidden Soulsearcher's Engine Bay
  14. The 2560 will do just as well as the S15 item as they are near identical, but this one will be brand new with warranty and u know if it hasn't been over boosted or not. I vouch for this turbo works well on my Sportivo  Karl.
  15. I didnt think that there was much point in running an efi pump on a carby setup anyway, well i guess you have boost but the fuel system wouldnt be able to cope with the efi pressure and be able to release the built up fuel, i could be wrong.... Karl.
  16. Nah thats alright, I'm not happy at all with that figure! From my reading of the dyno chart it says thatpeak power is started 4 grand as thats where the power line flatlines for the remainder of the rev range. My factory stat peak power is made at 5600rpm and by that stage its only running about 5psi according to my boost guage on my current setup. So my assumptions are if i get smooth and consistent boost settings id pull a better number and be producing more power. So I'm assuming its my catalytic converter or maybe something else but i know for a fact that the 2560R is a well suited turbo for my engine and shouldnt be running out of puff at 4 thousand revs. having said that i could live with (for now) it if still held 8-9PSI instead of dropping off to 5PSI if i replaced my cat. Karl.
  17. Hmmmm i wonder why  Welcome to Rollaclub btw, is better here than Toyota owners :hmm: what can i say I'm biased haha
  18. The actuator runs at 10 pounds but I'm loosing boost as my revs go past 4 thousand. It could be my that my cat converter is restrictive or i need a Boost Conrtoller, as ive explored CAI, and mild exhaust mods. so I'm yet to figure out what power my cars is actually putting down but atm its sitting rather hatedly at 91kwatw :hmm: >| Haha um atm i don't want to release info about my CAI :S..... ok fine its made up from down pipe lol i think that lesley had hers made up with an actual pod for just under $300 ive had quotes for about that much but if your handy enough you could buy a couple mandrel bends from an exhaust shop and weld/silver solder it up and then paint it. Much cheaper yet gets the same result. I know the snake pipe of an intake it heats up the intake air SOOOOO much! I know my car was bought from a dealer and as a result they took off a bit of stuff such as the BOV and i think pedals. I researched that they come with a standard Atmospheric BOV. Yeah they flutter a bit  well its actually hard to get flutter instead of "does" and it sounds so much less "wanky" with a normal "pstchhhh" BOV. Out of interest what tip are you thinking of running? ive seen a couple work on these cars. Hope it works out well for you. Karl.

  22. The immense speeds of updates and progress astounds me! Wish i had the facilities to be able to do that. Looking the goods *looks for subscribe button* will def look forward to seeing the end at least painted product. Karl.
  23. I have 127 pics lol. Il have to sort thru some of the ones for you guys. My net is a lil slow uploading so might see if i can borrow a mates or something. Karl.
  24. The JWChat looks nice, and is not as easily mistakable to be chatting with the incorrect person due to the separate windows. The others look nice but me personally would like something that works well and may not be as flashy as you may want. As well as ive done it on numerous occasions where you accidentally close all tabs on one particular window and then you could lose some important info that you haven't had a chance to memorize or record on another format. Although they're my ideas and the fascias may be interchangeable with JWChat so it opens in separate windows. and that near combines the best of both worlds. Karl.
  25. Willing to help a hand. Normally don't drink beer so il be working for free lol
