  1. Droids can on the full site with the basic uploader. I might see how hard it is to add it to the mobile editor. iPhone owners are still going to have to smoke Apple's pole.
  2. The reputation of tapatalk is not the problem. There are a whole bunch of customisations to the forum to make it behave the way we want it to. Tapatalk would essentially backdoor all those changes meaning I'd have to modify the server side tapatalk code, something I just don't have time for at the moment. There are other concerns but that's the major hurdle. Upload from photobucket? I certainly don't recommend photobucket but posting images from there hasn't been disabled.
  3. Yes, Avgas 100 (100/130) and 100LL are both still leaded. Avgas 100 has about 0.7-1.4g/L and 100LL has about 0.4-0.7g/L of lead. (ref: BP Air MSDS)
  4. What the hell is this new fad of starting threads that replace entire forums? Doesn't make a lick of sense to me. "The Noob Question Thread" replaces http://www.rollaclub...ral-mechanical/ "What Did You Do To Your Corolla Today??" replaces all of these http://www.rollaclub...ollaclub-rides/ "The 'K' Engine Disscussion Thread" replaces http://www.rollaclub.com/board/forum/67-kexx-corolla-discussion/ "The General Engine Issue Thread!" replaces http://www.rollaclub...ral-mechanical/ I know there's a couple of others too.
  5. You can get Sunoco leaded, starts at over $7/L though. Marvelous straw man, bravo!
  6. We discussed this briefly with some of the mods but the result was and still is a no.
  7. I dunno why people rag on Telstra, they know how to build a solid network. In my experience the problems tend to end up being more to do with the customers unrealistic expectations of technology (i.e. couldn't be met by ANY carrier) or some other self made SNAFU. The other type of problem I've seen is when people deal with a telstra reseller or contractor and wonder why Telstra wont fix their billing/whatever problems. There are tricks to dealing with telstra but even if you don't know the ins and outs they're still better than the alternatives.
  8. Sounds a lot like working in IT...
  9. Yep, but now there's a possible answer for the Google traffic ;)
  10. You, sir, have exceptional taste in automobiles. :y:
  11. The mark of a hipster...
  12. For sure. There are a couple I can think of off the top of my head that well and truly exceed the threshold of pain, 135dB+. Great for irritating everyone in the pits.
  13. Just don't forget that people at tracks care about noise levels too. If you're making everyone's ears bleed, you're gonna have a bad time. Aim to keep it under 100dB at least, 95 ideally.
  14. Wow, Time look really good. I've already got SPD pedals (came off my brothers bike, just cheapie shimano M520s) so I can at least get started in them but I might start hunting for some Times. I haven't heard great things about crank bros, definitely not keen to try them myself.
  15. Thinking about going clipless (SPD). XC riding seems to be where I'm headed. Heck, there's even races like 5 minutes from my house.
  16. Depends what kind of phone. I think Androids might be able to, iPhones definitely cannot.
  17. It's been all good now, haven't had another puncture since (~200km since then). I switched to tubes that aren't paper thin and I've got the size up (2.35s) as my spares to reduce the ballooning. Also running the rear up closer to the pressure limit. But yea, I've been over far rougher stuff and haven't had an issue.
  18. Anti-spray foam wont even come close to replacing a surge tank either. It doesn't really provide much in the way of baffling, that's not its purpose.

  20. See Dave, you're making the assumption they're smart enough to notice.
  21. Some of the ATL bladders are but you have to change the foam type.
  22. Do this. Looking at Perth's weather at the moment you're right in the sweet spot for serious carby icing. If it gets worse when its colder then I'd say with a fair bit of confidence that you're experiencing carby icing. http://www.atsb.gov.au/media/3604853/ao2012059_carb-icing.jpg The chart wont be completely true for corollas. It's designed for aircraft which are always sucking in ambient air (unless the carb heat is on) rather than somewhat warm engine bay air. But if you're sitting in the moderate or serious icing areas then you're gonna get some degree of icing.
  23. My sentiments exactly. The last place to skimp is the brake system. It's like $50 for 25ft of steel brake tube, peanuts!
