  1. Would be a crying shame if you had to pass the car off. I lost my first car, which was a unique KE70, and it broke my heart. Felt like I was breaking up with a first love. Yours looks three times better than what mine was, so I can only imagine what you'd be feeling if you had to let it go. Keep at it, though. If it's such a well-built car, it surely can't be knocked back for much in the respects engineering quality. Meaning you may be required to engineer the car at worst. Chin up. you might even pass with flying colours! :y:
  2. Why?! :(
  3. A mate's brother had a KE30 Corolla and said he was putting a V8 in it. This was a few years back though.
  4. Just out of curiosity, what engine are you planning on running in front of the W-series box?
  5. Do you live in Kambah Ben (ROSSI)?
  6. Must... drive... a... Corolla :'(
  7. I see why it needed the respray, Thomas! Looks way better than it did before :) Good on you for keeping us posted on what's happened too mate!
  8. Don't think he's on here mate. I know the car you're talking about. Some of my friends said they knew who owned it I think. Will get in touch if I find out anything.
  9. Contact?
  10. Sweeeeeet! :)
  11. Hey guys. I'm after some 4x110 wheels. Anything that will get past rego.
  12. Plenty of AE82's at Queanbeyan Auto Dismantlers (last time I checked) As for riding the gutter... It was during the Queanbeyan floods. So all of the water that was constantly on the road slowly brought some oil to the surface, making the corner a lot slipperier than it normally was when wet. That's not to say I was being responsible, either. Lets just say I hit it "sideways". :(
  13. I don't mind being reminded every few months about what keeps me inspired to be proud of K-series Corollas.
  14. I haven't passed through here for a while Josh! Astounding work getting this far guys. Hopefully the painting goes really well for you. Who's going to be your chief painter? Soon after I move into my next house, I will be starting prep work for my ke30 2-door. Hopefully I finish before ollie's done!! :)
  15. TRD extractors I presume? AE86DC is the best place to buy stuff for 4A-GE conversions.
  16. It's in Fisher on the side of the road with the right hand strut top snapped off the chassis. I'll sell the 5k out of it. Nothing else is worth much without these. I'll keep the diff.
  17. Your dad must be real old-school. Tell him they put turbo's on more than diesel's and 4 cylinder's these days :P
  18. Looking for a car to drive to and from work. Panelvan, wagon or utility would be good, but I still have a soft spot for RWD boxes.
  19. The Eze 10's KE20 did the best burnout out of the burnout masters on Saturday. Had to be the best moment of the nats. One of my mates got in a punch up and the bridge of his nose is basically touching his cheek. I felt a bit guilty taking my 10 yr-old brother - at the end of the day he was joining in ALL of the bogan behaviour. The worst part was when people said he was awesome for doing it.
  20. Brickies and all their money haha. AE71's are going up in value so there's no problem holding onto it for sentimentals!
  21. I would HIGHLY recommend a KE70 or AE71. They really are an AE86 with 2 extra doors, but 1 less zero on the price tag. The government/police are there to keep the community a safe place to live.
  22. Is it your KE30 that's always in Dickson near the TransACT building, Sammo? Roof racks! :) Saw the primered up KE35 with SLR flares hanging off the sides of it in Bunda street. Quite hilarious if you ask me, but it would look mental with some 14x10's and a paint job.
  23. Na mate. Any good?! Ditched the wagon did you?
  24. KE16 WAGON! :o Didn't know what it was at first then said aloud "whoa" when I realised.
  25. I'm looking into doing this conversion. I've bought an overseas SR5 dash cluster to go with the rest of it. What troubles are there fitting it?
