If you haven't already, give several wheel shops a call and ask if they do it. If they don't I'm sure they'd be able to tell you who does. What sort of rims are you resizing? :)

Will be tops with a new exhaust! Once you get some extractors are you going to take it to a shop for them to do the rest?

Great little engine in the 70! What power are you hitting with the setup you're running? Are you looking at doing more engine modifications? I have the same engine in mind for one of my cars at the moment so would like to get a ballpark figure of what I could be hitting!

Just went for a drive in the car that has this at the moment, Tommo! Although I think it needs a fair bit of tuning, go for it. I'm definitely up for giving you a hand. Plenty of experience putting K engines in their rightful place!

Looks very clean with the new rims! I hope you take care of it or it will be ashame if you start cutting it up. Aren't many in that good condition of yours! Need to respect your car rather than enjoy it. Should get a dirty KE70 for your SR conversion later on.. That way you can enjoy it rather than respect it ahah :) Love the colour too, paint is overrated! Very hard to find the same colour KE70 as yours without it being faded. :cool: EDIT: Sic number plates haha

I'm not desperate, just after one for my KE30 when I get it on the road! Like the one on Tommo's KE55. It's a shell with all the parts taken off.. The interior is pretty crappy as the steering column caught on fire and the dash was all shitty before that anyway. The MA60 seats it had my friend wanted, body has no rust, but isn't exactly perfect in being straight. If anyone were to use it as a car to drive it would be an awesome daily, but I've taken a LOT of things off it that would need finding replacement ones, such as WHOLE driveline, front end, interior, wiring... Everything :) It's a shell! (It still has fuel tank!) Some parts off it people can have/buy though as I'm not keeping everything.

Have you thought of going down the K-T path rather than K-W? W-series get really expensive and are quite a bit heavier. T-50's are great gearboxes. Can get cable clutch K-T bellhousings too! Love the car! Very clean :D

Getting everything rebuilt that isn't fully working is a lot more tedious and probably expensive than getting replacement parts. If you run down to a pick-a-part wrecker, you'll be able to score a whole set of struts for cheap. Could even try and get some AE86 items! If not, you could buy a whole KE70 strut, master cylinder etc. and keep it all "original" as all the parts are the same and it would be a lot cheaper than to take apart, hand in to a service shop, get them to machine it all down, clean out, rebuild etc. Plenty of people wrecking KE70's here too.

You should be able to fit 14" hotwires? Or will you be needing bigger?

Yea... :D JDM or Oldschool Aussie rims is the only way to go IMO. Anything newer looks like absolute :D ... that's right - ass. Will have to get some pics up of the cool rides they have there. You'll probably have to pester me some more as I have a pretty good record for not putting up pics when I say I will.

Naa, just a 4k and 5 speed so I can move it around the yard without breaking a sweat.. Might try and get it rego'd for 3 months just so I can drive it for a little while. Don't think I'll need anything... I've got all the tools/parts. Although, If you've got a spare set of sockets might be a good idea to bring them around as I've only got the one set of my own and the father doesn't like people using his gear too often.

KE36 panelvan shell anyone? No rust but a little extra shopping trolley and carpark dinged up. Free. No diff or front end. Going to scrap on Friday! Front guards are decent, RHS has small ding just where headlight is, LHS very 9.5/10 but needs paint. Bonnet is 8.5/10 for straightness and has a strip of repairable rust about 15-20cm long.
