  1. They put bolts in which hold a spot welded piece in :)
  2. Should come up fantastic! Isn't too hard to give them a new coat :)
  3. LOL. That happened in my friends RA65..I think the xA6x series are prone to doing that.
  4. No worries Chappo. Well would have been better if a couple more could have made it but I'm alright if just you guys were coming around, Sam and Tom! If you'd prefer to wait for another round when a couple others are coming along, feel free to make it another date. I'll give you a call in the morning, Sam |blink|
  5. Lunchtime ok everyone? I'm going to see some Live music at 6... If everyone less busy next weekend do it then? I do have all of work off this coming week because of a concussion/head fracture/contusion from Big Day Out, so I think I might get it done in that time :hmm: Was thinking could just have the fun part and have a BBQ; OR fully strip my KE30 minus the rolling bits so I can work on the body... Then have a BBQ |blink|
  6. LOL! As for the grille, thats bloomin expensive... and $35 for postage. What a jack off.
  7. NickZ
  8. Jealous! :D Hard to decide what I want to do with my 2-door when I see lots of other brilliant ones! 2T-G, 4A-GE, 4A-GTE, 5K... What to choose. How does the 2T-G go (tell me once you've got it to the standard you want) ;)
  9. Great car :D For the plans you've got, why not go a regular 4A-GE? Unless you turn it into a trailer... ;)
  10. Was going to ask the same thing! I like the wheels. Would like super with a real good polish! Trust me, it makes a big difference in how you look at the car ;) What is it that you're doing with the dash I see you've taken off? Have you done any rust fixing? She'll wear out if you leave it too long!
  11. Welcome to RollaClub! First of all 4x114.3 PCD is the stud pattern of your KE35. For future reference the standard stud patterns of all Corolla's IS: KE1x, KE2x = 4x110 PCD KE3x, KE5x, KE70, AE71, AE85, AE86 = 4x114.3 PCD All front wheel drive Corolla's 4x100 PCD! I'm not sure what's the widest you can fit on front and rear, but check out peoples threads and you'll probably find out the largest people go. I think 8 would be the widest you'd WANT to go without pumping your guards. As for future questions such as these (ones that could be answered VERY simply) it is best to do a search for it as it'll only take you a couple minutes - if not seconds - to find your answer. Otherwise we'll have lots of 1 liners cluttering up the forums! Cheers, Seabiscuit!
  12. Made a little bit later and has a teency bit more power. Probably costs a lot more than a silvertop so I'd go Silvertop. Phil Bradshaw's 4AGE Information
  13. Salisbury diffs (in Australia) are out of a HK GTS Monaro Bathurst. I think from big block Camaro's in the US. Probably a couple of others.
  14. Ahaha, need to have photo's of the other side of my car so it doesn't look so bogan! I hate the stocky on the back :jamie:
  15. Replace the whole engine with a 4age.
  16. Not when you've had it for more than a month and you're sick of people asking :jamie:
  17. Head count for Saturday. Roll up. Roll up! Who's bringing their smile on their dial to mine?
  18. Are you going to be making mounts for the suspension setup of the R31 diff or keeping it a leaf rear end?
  19. Wow! That's very soon! It will be in sleeper mode for a little while until you get to add the finishing touches. Great to hear :jamie:
  20. Sweeeeet... I realised I wanted to check if it had standard guards after I left to see what I could fit under mine.. Seems I won't be having any dramas now fitting just about anything :jamie:
  21. Coming along well, mate! What's the ETA you've got for this thing? Once again, can't wait to see this machine on a Canberra cruise :jamie: ps. Leave the rims the colour that they are. I think they'd go well when your car is black.
  22. Great work with the 4age! Have you finished the rear quarter and door?
  23. 4K exactly the same as 5k (as said in FAQ). I'm guessing they are all the same and the crank is the only difference.
  24. If it runs fine on 91 (regular unleaded) and you don't like racing or driving fast, it'll be fine. Generally there is no difference in a stock K for 95-98, but is better than 91. Try each out and test them, but I'm sure 91 will run fine if it's tuned right.
  25. Should be able to if AE86 struts run same diameter spring as KE70! Does your friend with Falcon springs have aftermarket springs? That could be the reason your front end is a bit sloppier.. Or your shocks are buggered! Very cool car! Anything else done to it.. Point us to a project thread? :jamie:
