  1. Wow, your KE70 looks so good, its the first ive seen with two tone and i really like it. Youll be happy to know that ive decided to sell the rims that are on the car, after seeing yours, i can see why you suggested that i go for some old school deepdish wheels. :y: Anyway nice work and clearly one thing you don't do is muck around! YOU GET BUSY!!! Pete.
  2. Gday Ben, i might be a bit late in saying it but welcome to the rolla club. I wouldve definatlly sold the bike for a KE20 for sure, mainly cause i love them so much more then R1's but also whats gonna be worth more to you in ten years time? id say the car, speaking off the car, its a f@$kin beast. If you don't mind me askin, how much did you pick it up for? Manual or auto? I agree with mungi mods, you need to slam that beast! Sick ride m8, love em. Pete. :P
  3. OH MY GOD, this is like the unwanted grave site for sick cars! pretty funny though...
  4. LOL, you should see it in real life! Its looks so...i don't know...industrial?
  5. Your car is soooo sick  i love it m8 keep it up cause that beast is gonna turn some heads :P
  6. The salesman i got the car from was, and still is, a useless sack off fat and bone. Seriously, what made him think he could try to sell a car thats not running for $6500? When i went there and spoke to him about price i laughed at him and told him he was dreaming and i offered him $3000 but he wouldnt budge. So a few days later i went back there with $5000 in my hand and he took it. At the time i thought it was a bit much, but looking back now I'm glad i got it cause some of the things that have been done to it wouldve cost me more then that to build anyway i guess.
  7. yeah i kinda didnt take into account the amount of oil that might be in the block and i tried to drain it all using a 5 litre catch can. :no2: It did its job well and caught its 5 litres but failed to catch the other 4 litres that is now on my driveway. :P Oops! :)
  8. And finally shes out! YEEEEEW! :)
  9. Today i finally got around to taking the motor out of my car which was pretty easy (okay not thay easy but ive done worse!) Trouble is i did it by myself which kinda sucked but i got there. :no2: So i thought id put some pics up for you guys to look at, the 7k engine is going to a friend but he will only be getting the bare block, everything else is going on the new 5k which I'm waiting to get back from the rebuilders to put into the car for the first time. Its all happening! So excited :P Hopefully now the :) Will leave me alone. lol
  10. Believe me i would love to do that, but instead ive pulled the 7k out and I'm getting a 5k built for it as we speak, i know its not exactly gonna be as good as the 7k, but at least it will be legal. :S
  11. Hope everythings allright m8, sorry to hear about what happened.....
  12. This car is sooo sick, f@$kin love it mitch. just letting you know, i lost my licence 2 years ago for 3 years! its been so painful! hope your back on the road soon.

  14. Nice work on the rolla nickyboy, lookin extra sick dude. I'm gonna have my KE25 running before christmas so id be keen to have a bit of a cruise with ya, unfortunatly i wont be rollin up on the 28th in my car. but ill still be there.
  15. its tempting, I'm sooooo keen to get it going again.
  16. so true, people have told me that it would probley just wear the rings, but for the price its probley not worth the risk.
  17. Your probley right dude, cheers for taking the time to answer my question
  18. The motor in the car has been thrown in the bin, its dodgy and dosnt comply with sa standards, so I'm getting a 5k built for it as we speak.
  19. a good idea dude, ill look into it. thanks for taking the time to help.
  20. Hey guys, it seems that a lot of people know about this car, some of you out there seem to know more about it then i do! For those of you who don't know, i bought this car with a blown head gasket thinking that we could just put the head back on without coming into any problems, unfortunatlly this wasnt the case, we pulled the head off and sure enough, the bores were still full of water and apparently it had been sitting like that for over 8 months! So to my disgust, i found that all the bores were completlly rusted and it had pitted quite badly, so basiclly the brand new motor that was put in it is completly f@$ked, so now i need a 5K block so i can go ahead with the rebuild. Pete. :)
