Hey all like the title says i need to remove my dash pad on my ke26..... ive taken all the screws out on the front of the dash but what else is there??? do i need to remove the front metal part of the dash at the bottom of the windscreen?? any help/pics to help me will be much appreciated as i need it out as soon as possible to get it trimmed... thanks :jamie:

yeh well i think ill make some brackets up tomorrow. ive got this nut things that are like a threaded rivet.. so you have a hole with the thread in it so ill probly use like 4 of them should work fine. ill rig something up tomorrow and put some pics up if it works lol

yeh matty did them for me.... well driving this compared to my ke70 i don't think i want to go very fast in it lol.... just doesnt have that safe feel to it lol... I'm just gunna keep it low and slow :lovin: :lol:

ok messed around a bit today and whipped this up and i think i might mount a tacho on the front of it think i will cover it in balck vinyl and put some switchs on the face to tell me what yous think :lolcry: also what do you think could be a good way to attach it to the car lol.... thinkin of screws into the tunnel..

Alright this is my new project. Bought it a couple of months ago. its a 1974 ke26 wagon (aka the wagooose) Its white and black... SO far i have done *full service *new heater hoses *new water pump *new radiator and thermostat *thermo fan *front brakes upgraded to rotor's and calipers *new calipers, rotors, pads and brake hoses *new wheel bearings in the front *new rear drums and shoes *new semi-sealed headlights *re-painted and retrimed boot section *all seats freshly re-upholstered *new carpet THINGS TO COME *drop it 3inchs all round *upgrade to a 4k with mild cam, extractors, weber etc etc *chuck in a sterio (maybe just use a ghetto blaster) *make up a centre console for switchs and gauges etc etc *full respray (in the very distant future) *new front window *fender mirrors (maybe) *new wheater seals all round *white walls. WILL PUT PICS UP SOON BUT MY COMPUTER IS GAY LOL

Alright so i was playin with the 26 today and had it running.... ive installed new lights so i thought ill put them on and see how they look.... problem is they come on then slowly dim to almost nothing.....also have a thermo running through a relay to the ignition switch and this will vary in speed depending on what electric shit is on...... now my question is...... Could this be happenin because of a shit battery, the alternator not doing its job or just old wiring???? Is it drawing to much current for the alternator>??? When it comes to electrical I'm a bit of a retard so any help would be awsome cheers luek :P :D

just remember if you have to space them out heaps then your looking at getting into trouble with the wheels hitting you gaurd when turning etc etc..... also the width of the spacers all depends on how far from the hub the wheel is....... you may want to get proper bolt on spacers instead of the slip on type.... thats basiclly all i can think of... or instead you may need to think of getting some wheels with a different offset so they wont hit....

well this car wont be getting any love like that...... thou be awsome to do don't get me wrong but it will be someone else's toy in the not to distant future. hopefully they have some big plans for it as i would hate to see it go to waste

Well all good things come to an end..... this car will be up for sale in the coming months due to my new toy needing some work... it will be sold with everything you see.... wheels etc etc etc so if your interested send me a pm and i can let you no when it is goin up for sale before it goes under the hammer...... cheers for all the comments on this car but this will probly be the last post for old greeny ps. the next project thread will be up soon.........mmmmmmmmmm ke26
