nah its not lol..... I'm mounting a l.e.d strip on the top edge..... it will only sit out like 5mm max..... ill have to make a mould for it as it isnt water proof... its like a mother board thingy with flat l.e.ds on it.... so ill have to cast it in resin.... so i got next week off to make some progress should be fun... illl pull the tailgate back off and finish filling and priming... and then some paint :wub:

alright got the tailgate back today from the custom shop.... shaved it clean with a 30mm resess for the number plate...... only one problem...... i took photos and now i can't find the cable lol.....pics of it tomorrow

ok pulled my finger and finally got my carpet 100% fitted..... used a heat gun and re moulded all the sides and trimmed down for a perfect fit..... also got all the seats back in.... can't wait to have this thing on the road..

pics are coming soon...... and yeh i highly doubt ill make the cruise in this old girl... maybe some time next year lol

an even smaller update today... i sent a bit of bruce away today for some cosmetic surgery.... wont say what it is until its done....and ill put some pics up of the finished product..

once again just a little update... me and roo got the roof lining in...... with the help of some shonky glue and like 1000 bulldog clips lol...... but its all stuck in nice now and got the new windscreen in today..... happy well i;'ll get into this weekend and try get some new pics up..... cheers luke

anyone know the diameters of ke20 struts????

alright cheers for that.... the only problem is that i want to saty ke20 struts because everthing is brand new...calipers, discs etc etc.... ill look into the sleeves and see what shocks are avalible... if worst comes to worst ill have to convert to ke70/corona gear.... and with the rear i will more than likely do the same as you mungi mods :jamie:

Alright been looking over and couldnt find anything on this..... I'm aiming on dropping my ke26 around 3-4 inchs... i have cut springs in the front end of my ke70 and it sucks ass.... my question is there any sleeve kits getting around that would fit ke20 struts or will i have to convert to ke70???? any help would be awsome :)

my ke70 had bad wheel wobble at like 60+...... due to me being slack and not adjusting the wheel bearings... also check the wheels.... may be bent etc etc

i would say your turbo has a slight leak...

Alright still not alot done lol put in a new alternator and having some rust repaired on monday..... then need the front of the roof lining fixed and then i can get the front window in and get her on the road..... I'm gunna paint the centres of my wheels black.... looks 1000x better lol and of course when its on the road it will sit 3inchs lower.....mmmmmmmmmmmm

mate in my experience's with work and my cars it sounds like you either have air in your lines or a leak some where... wheel cylinders are normally the main problem for leaks (i have noticed).... good way to check where its leaking form is park it on a flat surface like the garage floor etc etc and pump the peddle a good ten+ times if theres a leak your gunna notice the fluid. ive had my ke70 and ke26 both blow wheel cylinders and yeah it freaks you out when all of the sudden you have no brakes................anyway good luck

just a little update. got my self a (nos) dash off raven in the post so that is now in. i will try finish triming up the carpet this weekend so that fits all snug. will also have to get someone in to finish the roof lining as I'm have some problems with it.... also swapped back to the original grill. just need a new window and a few little things here and there and it should be on the road pretty soon...

alright i was looking at the tailgate today and relised i really need the trim peice under the boot lock....... I'm chasing the entire assembly lights and all..... i want one in good nick also cos i have two now and they are both rusty and bent so if you you have one extra can you please let me know..... or know where to get a (nos) one if possible cheers luke

yeh i no what your talkin about with the roof..... had to take the windscreen out, it had a crack in it so i needed to change it anyway

alright the roof lining is pretty much in and i got some new wheels for it heres some pics

Small update....... Got my dash pad out to get repaired (hopefully cos it broke in half lol).... also getting my roof lining and sunvisors retrimed hopefully on saturday.... Gunna do the roof lining black with white piping where the seams are..... should look mean :P ill chuck some picks up when more progress is made
