You don't seem to come across to me as someone who already drifts (nope, drifting isn't the same as carpark burnouts)... no offence though... Try welding the diff in it and taking it out for a drift practice session, see how you go, maybe whack in a 5K... you could build yourself up a bit. Maybe a 4AGTE down the track if you can handle the power and can afford to do it - if your mechanically minded it'll cost a motza, if your not... well, lets not think that far - its a fair bit... In all honesty, a KE35 (what you've got) is not a drift car mate - leaves and drifts don't go together.

No, because.... - a V8 sounds like a V8 (defect bait) - a V6 is cheaper - will fit in alot easier than a V8 - are more plentiful than a V8 - better value for money than a V8 - costs more to run than a V6 - and i doubt a standard diff woudl be able to cope with the power of a V8 for long Also, there would be a stupid amount of weight over the front, more so than a V6... the list could go on. Why the f@$k would you regret not going straight to a V8 in the first place?

Yeah, XD-Fs haven't fared well with age, thats for sure. They're still reliable as f@$k though, and if you thought it was slow wait until you get behind the wheel of one on LPG - the dizzy isn't the best design for LPG and won't let you get optimum performance out of it. My one, in the dirt, you'd have to throw it around like mad to do fishies, and the only reason why it would do them is because of basic physics lol, not power.... body roll ftw

Lol, I'm guessing you've owned an XD-F Falcon or two? Pretty much any X-series Falc is prone to rattling and squeaking, purely because they've seen alot of use and the rubber suspension bushes perish. My EA, although boat like, and probably the slowest Falc that I've ever driven, didn't have any rattles or squeaks and didn't develop them after alot of bush track pounding.... I wish I could say the same of the 3.9L boat anchor they called a motor.
