  1. Good work man :hmm:
  2. :hmm: 20V Silvertop!!!!!!!! KE55 Coupe!!!! OMFG!!! = pleasure!
  3. Did you know the 78% of all statistics are made up?
  4. Shit I've got to hurry up on my Corolla. Realised that its been six months now :hmm:, so much for it only taking a few months like I originally said. Tomorrow is Rollcage Day :y:
  5. :hmm: exactly :y:
  6. I always use EOIs, because I really don't know how much the parts are worth. The way I see it, selling to the first offer on an EOI is better than posting a For Sale thread without a price. If youse want me to start posting For Sale threads with the price being 'make an offer $$' I'll do it, though. By the way, I wouldn't sell a whole car with an EOI.
  7. Whats happening with this project now man... got hooked on it for a while there, now its been 5 odd months :hmm:....
  8. I haven't even seen Rolla Boys parts collection yet; but I already know that it will be MASSIVE. This f@$kers had more than 30 corollas over the years!!!
  9. So did AE71's.. what modifications need to be done to do it though?
  10. Oh ok, so thats where all the model designations come from.. ie AE71 = A series motor, KE55 = K series motor.. does that continue in the ZZE models?
  11. I'd be pretty sure that they are the same shell, yeah... Hey mate, your quotes are fine, you just need to put a [ at the start of each one for them to come up proper :hmm:. Dan.
  12. Hahaha, I aspire to be like you... all those parts!!! You've probably got enough shit there to rebuild an entire KE55 shell...
  13. Xany saves the day #1436 :hmm:
  14. Some people get bored and start knitting. Some people get bored and start going skitzo. I get bored and start painting shit with spray cans; if you see my project car weekly there will be something different on the paint each week :hmm:.. I just get bored :y: Thats a pretty damned good parts car man, looks in better condition than my project turned parts car...
  15. Captain Lappy saves the day!!!!1!
  16. Doubtful on that one. 'chrisnliz' reports maxing out at 52km/h with his 4:1 ratio diff/K50 combination in first gear; doubt that the T50 would be that much different in regards to gear ratios, and combined with the 4:3 you would probably be lucky to push 50?? Thats just me guessing though; I don't have a clue what the ratios are like in a T50 as compared to a K50. Dan.
  17. I told you to only take two of those pills at a time dude...
  18. KE55's ran Borg Warner diffs, from my understanding the KE55 Manual's came out with a 4:1 centre and the KE55 automatics came out with a 4:3 centre. With the exception being that all KE38's (read: KE55 wagon/panelvan) were released with a 4:3 centre. There were 3:9 centres available as an option in the AE71 series, though apparently they require some modification to fit in the KE55 housing. The Jap diffs that were found in KE30's ran 4:1 in the manual and 4:3 in the auto, and wagons and panelvans (KE36) were released with a 4:5 ratio centre. There were some special ratio TRD diffs that were released over the years in the KExx models. Hope that helps, I'm pretty sure that it is correct. Dan.
  19. Haha yeah but at the moment we're all powered on hopes and dreams -we need to make it a reality. I think a nice rollaclub.com sticker on the speedway car would give the club decent publicity..
  20. Dan

Where did you get the moonies from man, they're sweet, I like them!
  21. Monkeys doing whatnot in the bush.. I've noticed that you've got a shitload of old nice corollas too dude, and this ones no different; f@$king beautiful! You'd better send some over to us West Oz fellas :hmm:
  22. Yeah, hasn't turned out the best. We'll wait another few months, and get some more members and I'll reconsider... but until then... Canceled :hmm:
  23. Make sure rollaclub gets a mention :hmm:
  24. Come over to Perth for a whole lot of us 'diehard corolla enthusiasts'... We'll make you feel at home :hmm:
  25. 18R was the engine run in the late 70s and early 80s Hiluxes and TA28 Celicas, am I correct? Well if the 18R fits in the engine bay (what crossmember would be used) of a KE70, would the diesel Hilux motor fit? Be a good paddock basher if you had the bits laying around (like I might just happen to)...
