A KE30 with square headlights will essentially look just like this blokes car. There is f@$k all noticeable difference in the bonnets unless you look close. I'd actually think it would look good with the hybrid 30/55 look. For the reference, I'm pretty sure that Hilux headlights are the same as the KE55 headlights, which opens you up to alot of headlight styles (minitruck culture :lolcry:). I think the headlights that this guy has are called diamondbacks or something along those lines... Anyway, bloody nice car mate :hammer: Dan.

If you wanted to make one, you should probably start off with a wagon. Most factory utes (ie. Commodore ute, Falcon ute) have started off as wagons then got chopped up to achieve what they want. This means that you are going to have to do a shitload of bracing to keep the structural integrity of the car to a standard, not to mention getting the bastard of a thing to pass roadworthy etc.... Easier would to be make a one tonner style thing, mounted some chassis of another smaller car, ie sierra or something.. but in reality its a headf@$k and alot of work.. If you want to do it though, go for it! Dan.

You know, it might be because Malaysians get really shitty fuel.. from my understanding, cars that are running 98 octane fuel seem to get marginally better fuel economy (from what I've read and heard) then conventional 93 octane fuel. Have shit in the fuel, you have to rev it harder to get the power therefore using more fuel. So the way I see it is either a) Malaysia gets shitty fuel b) Malaysian people can't drive for shit unless they are Fook (or similar), then they can drive incredibly well c) All of the above :jamie: Dan.

Hahaha it went LS at one stage for some reason, but only for about 10 seconds... and poopy 4k wouldn't keep spinning in 2nd without ANY brake applied, ghey.. I did, however, manage to get wheelspin through dropping the clutch in 4th with bald tyres :jamie:

Yeah, you can get them, they are all over eBay, look under 'performance' :jamie: < thats true btw. They only cost about 10 bucks or so... I have a k40 gearbox that I would guess would be between 15 and 20 kilos, so i guess that is a fair figure for the k50. f@$k, that kart is pretty awesome... what do you do with it, race it? Find a better engine thats running, new gaskets and welsh plugs and use that. If you want machining done it is going to cost a fair bit... You can rebuild a K motor for 500 andy... if you know the right people...

Perhaps there is a dodgy connection in the wiring where the indicator/wiper cluster connects with the loom?? Or maybe a short in the actual cluster itself?

My cranks on my pushbike are cast (iron ?) and have been welded at one stage. I weigh 80kg and regularly drop off two metre ledges, and I haven't had a problem with cracking on the weld or anything. Therefore I am a firm believer that you CAN weld cast xxx without a large problem providing you aren't stick welding or something stupid like that, and that you are competent in welding.... Just my two bobs worth..

I have to admit I don't bother looking at EOI's either. But I'm only a young bloke, I don't have a clue what the stuff is worth, and in general I am only selling little things to get rid of them and will accept the first offer - no matter what... What do you suggest I replace my EOI's with then?

I wanted to do like a metre long one spread drift style across the bonnet, would surely get some looks... white to contrast with the flat black paint..
