  1. If you can't do it yourselves, go out and buy a manual KE30. If the auto is in great nick swap the parts and sell the auto car, end up with a manual one. Simple :lolcry:
  2. On a private test track I presume :lolcry: Do you know that doing 120 in second gear in a XF falcon usually results in the engine making bad noises?
  3. I love toyota's because they are cheap, reliable and easy to find parts for. Not to mention the 'copycat cars' like the KE35 coupe and TA23 celica that look like scale versions of legendary aussie and american cars. That said - Classic not plastic :lolcry:
  4. Hmm, dodgy mate telling me its a Queensland number :lolcry: Good idea, i'll be 1800 reversing it at the next phone box i go to!
  5. G'day fellas, I got a missed call from someone in Queensland today, the way I see it, it is either one of the rollaclub members calling me, or that scam that was going on for a while (02 and 03 numbers leaving missed calls, when you call back its a premium service that charges $100 a call :lolcry:) Hence the reason that I am not going to call it back. So yeah, if it was one of the rollaclub members pm me please, don't reply to it being you in this thread (that would be stupid, but feel free if you are that stupid) The number was; 03 9428 6099 Alternatively, call me back. Dan.
  6. Exactly, we start and tune the drag bike pretty much every wednesday (in a suburban house) and that thing would probably be as loud as a bloody jumbo jet when its idling. You basically have to gauge what your doing, your surroundings and all that sort of shit. But yeah, just don't be a prick and you'll be right.
  7. TV is overrated. I'll just whack a crusty's dvd or something in if I really need to get that 'TV fix' nb: I do not reccomend watching a dvd like crusty's or mischeif before you go riding/driving. Influences you to do real stupid shit :lolcry:
  8. The hakas throat slitting motions just back up the emotion. Anyway, if they ban any part of the haka, they'll be pretty much f@$ked, the way i see it.
  9. Might be the case where you live mate, but they're generally pricks over here in WA.
  10. My old man got pulled over in a big group going out of Summernats on his harley for noise inspection by.. EPA or something? Anyway, his bike wouldn't start again for them to test it, so while everyone else was getting noise checked he couldn't as it didn't start again. So he loads it on the trailer, when he stops for the night he gets it running again etc and its all non-fined happy days. Jump forward another month and hes got a letter from the EPA saying that his bike didn't pass the noise test, he rings them up, tells them what the go is with the bike (circumstances surrounding noise inspection) and their reply was simply; "Oh, there seems to have been a bungle here about this, you didn't actually get tested". Just wanted another modified vehicle off the road. Pricks. Anyway, see if you can fight it, if you can't fight it easily at the start it ain't gunna get any easier; don't be a tightarse, get a stock exhaust put in (or put it in yourself)| And yes. I've made the mistake of f@$king around making noise in my own home and street and let me say, it is not something I'll do again. The ripple effect is f@$ked, simply from a mate tuning his very loud corolla, a loud HK and a burnout in my front yard. Its caused me no end of problems.. so yeah, my advice is.. Don't shit in your own street. Dan.
  11. Use cable ties to hold them in place...... that is the bloody smartest thing I've heard all day.
  12. Tryed clearing it out a bit (ie: revving it up a fair bit)? Could be a bit of gunk in the carby.. Take a spark plug out and have a look at it. Could be as simple as the plugs.. I also experience the same problem with my starter motor. Sometimes it starts, other times it will just sit there and make the clicking noise (its in my KE55). However, I get the feeling that this might have something to do with the fact that my entire electrical system is exposed to the weather, inside and out :lolcry:
  13. Don't see why not, but why?

    Ke70 Ute?

Nup, not it. Doesn't have shaved door handles.. some people who have been to Summernats alot might know it, it is a blue HQ ute on a HZ chassis and used to run a Twister tray on it :lolcry: its a sick car :y: But yeah, I love KE30 one tonners :)
  15. Whack a stock exhuast back in, you shouldn't have to pay much for one.

  19. They fall out of there saddles as soon as you get a little bit of rise in your front end, by the looks of things you enjoy gravel roads :P, not suitable.... Buy some proper lowered springs for f@$ks sakes :P, I think they're only 100 bucks or something (fronts only)
