my mates just bought a sprinter and we're stuck trying to figure out if its the aussie or jap import version, theres no engine, just wanna know how to tell differences Cheers

hi all I have a ke50 that I'm thinking of selling but i need to know what price i should put it up for, my reason for its probable sale is that its only a run about to me and i need a running car that wont take much to look after, its got its rust spots but no physical holes just a few patchs, theres no damage to the body of the car but the rear bumper is a little bent but could be straightened, the dash has cracks in it and so do the front seats, its still running and drives alright just needs the rest of the exhaust to quiet it down a little, I'm just after maybe even a swap for a manual ke70/ae71 thats in fair condition so I'm not having to repair parts of it as the 50 is more of a restore job to get it looking sweet again but thats just time i don't have and i already have another project at home chewin my money up, either swaps or a basic market value that i can put the car up for, ive been told for one in decent cond round 5-6k but this one aint that good but is still a rare car so the help would be great Cheers boys and girls

well i picked it up tonight and i must say wow at the definite difference in power compared to my cefiro. Jip_01 its a 78 model and has the black dash but its got cracks all through it, still in one piece but cracked. As for the body yeah sum minor rust in the roof and a few little spots of paint that need a touch up but other than that i was definitly happy to pay 500 buckeroos for it, haha the guy had even put up plush zebra skin print for the roof lining, pimpin for sure haha, pics to come when i have both light and time

havnt actually seen the car in person yet haha but i will be picking it up on wed so you'll find out then. Cheers for the help offer, ill keep that in mind and nah I'm not gonna hurt this one ill take all good care of it haha

hey all as you can see i'm new here Didnt think i'd make it to joining this forum but yeah it all started when a mate at tafe shows me a pic of a corolla that looks in pretty good nick. I offer him $500 for it, just mucking around, and he goes ill talk to his dad and sure enough he sez ok, next wed I'm now picking up a ke50 only to find out they're a fairly rare model for its time, not entirely sure on proper condition but ive been told theres no rust or dents, the paints pretty good still and the interior is still fairly good. Its packing a rebuilt 1200cc of toyota fury and shifted by a nice 5 speed to a welded diff, she's white with tinted windows and half the exhaust system it should have. At the start i was just buying it coz i wanted a cheap bush car so i msg my mate and he told me he'd pretty much kill me if i did and after he'd been on here and found out they can be worth as much as a few grand i thought i'd hold onto this one Pics and more details to come next week when i pick her up
