I have all ways locked the mechanical advance on the dissy a blown engines as you don't want any mechanical or vac advance set base where its happy and leaving . p.s this will save head gaskets and pistons Cheers 1jz020

I put a TA22 in my ke20 , its only 10mm wider than a standard diff , but has alot larger axels and bearing supports which is a good thing, stops diff centres exploding ,took me 2hrs to refit the diff ke 20 mounts and install ,and so far has handled a 300 hp 1jz-gte cheers 1jz 020

spotted my 1jz ke 20 at speedway city burnout comp on the 14 november, won the 6 cylinder class cheers 1jz ke20

hey toy-yoda there has been alot of fabrication done to get the 1jz in. the firewall was cut from the passenger chassis rail to the steering box and is now back directly behind dash had to take vent controls and ash tray to fit in. and inlarge trans tunnel, and the seats are available at any good speed shop they are JAZ racing seats with covers. only done a couple of shake down drive on the road

heres a couple of photos of my re powered ke 20, once was supercharged hemi 6 which blew up ,now 1jz gte . paint job is abit ruff at the moment but will be repainting back to factory white for that sleeper look

Should be a fast run with the NOS aswell ,How much HP is she pumping at the moment 800-1000 , put mine on the dyno friday and pulled 263.2 rwhp with just a fmic and open dump

unfortunately over rev ed the hemi and she through a piston and rod out big time . but not bad before that . top gear 8000 rpm on the taco . new engine all ready in ready to go

Specs of Blown Ke 20 are : 265 high performance, wade supercharger on cusrtom manifold 2x 450 holleys, modified BW35 Ta 22 celica diff with richmond gears . cut firewall out from chassis rail to chassis rail and up to top lip put new boxed firewall and trans tunnel in .engine sits direct behind dash (had to take out heater controls and ashtray runners )handels ok

hey rolla 20 there will be one more 6 cylinder ke 20 at gazzanational . there will be a hemi 265 powered hope you and sus20 and my self can put on a good ke 20 show for the adelaide crowd

good too see another Ke20 with a six in . i believe ihave seen this one before in the norhtern suburbs.And may know the original builder .I drive mine on the street with standard disc front .i just never open it up unless ive got staight road with no side streets. these babies goooooooooooooooooooooooo :jamie: :abuse: with sixes in so hang on Hemi 6 the only way to gooooooooooooooooo :'(
