  1. Thanks guys for the positive comments i know the mirrors are a bit gay but i just wanted the fender mirrors so bad and it's good for a laugh.. This KE will have a good life until we part if we ever part.. and i like the sound of big bad orange would have been a tough looking colour new. Sunroof was already in there when i first bought it and was one of the contributing factors as to why i bought the car in the first place and yes it is very cool! yes it will be getting lowerd in the near to distant future! cheers again guys!
  2. Thanks yeah got a few jap plates lying around adds to the effect! More pics up!! [
  3. Howdy i've been into toyota's for a few years now and a while ago i had a '81' KE70 xx i had it for about 6 months and regretably sold it about 2 1/2 years ago to a guy who neglected so bad not even servicing it or washing it!! :) . I wasn't really that spewing at the time as i sold it on to get a AE71 spirit in overrated condition which i wrote off into a pole learning to drift :no2: !! I ended up getting rid of it and bought a AE86 but still always had a soft spot for my old ke and now i got the chance to buy it back so i did :bash: . So anyway I thought id put up some pics of my daily KE. It's a "81" KE70 XX 5spd in orange with overrated interior & a awesome sunroof. It has a bit of rust but they all do and it's nothing a bit of bog can't fix. I like the look of fender mirrors so i just moved the stock ones down a bit, threw on some 14x6.5 volk meshies on the front and some ssr mesh 15x 7.5 on the rear. Also replaced the grill, parker lights, indicators and bumper with new ones just to clean it up a bit! No real plans at this stage except to LOWER it and new shocks it will get all the old hand me downs of my hachi anyway but i would rather spend the money on my 86. cheers people. :bash:
  4. Hey when i took my badges of my ke70 they were glued on wid 2 or 3 points on the back(to fit in the holes in ur boot) I used fishing line to get em off and it worked a treat and didn't scratch my paint!! hope this helps u!!
