I'm impressed...it all looks very smick wd i've got some wheels off a sprinter that i bought a few weeks back but havent had a car to fit them to yet...still in process of coversion 15's i think....could be 16"...fark can't remember pattern/offset (spose that don't matter too much) either & can't access PF from work to check....i'll find out...but if u want em for a few days that can be arranged
  4. who did the coilovers demuire? looks overrated! :)
  5. 4200 for a sprinter with 4age isnt too bad...provided its in good condition and has some suspension bits each to their own really...if you're willing to pay then you're willing to pay :)
  6. ah it is yours? yeah thats the good thing about sprinters...there's always someone that wants one :KY:
  7. nah it wasnt shanes car...paint job was standard/faded...no tint on windows either unless thats another shane...i think there's like 3 shanes with sprinters but definately not the one from twincam.org if thats who you're talking about
  8. :KY: eek...516000k's & 4ac no doubt technically only worth 2-3k max hell, i sold my gze sprinter for 4k...mind you the paint was crap as long as those inflated prices are still around when the time comes to sell my baby ;)
  9. where did you seem him medicine man? i saw a red sprinter last night at the lights on mains/beenleigh rd (pinelands)about 11pm...sounded like a 4age...had a bit of go in it too...running pretty rich...had lots of fireballs coming out the rear does it belong to anyone on this forum? had small trd sticker on the rear left above the light assembly
  10. with the release of Inital D english version i've seen a lot more interest in sprinters...unfortunatley mostly from 'ful sic' noobs who think ae86's are drift machines....yeah they can drift but certainly not the best car to do it in...esp if you don't know what you're doing they may be around atm but i daresay the stocks are going to be depleated by wannabe takumi tards putting them into poles on the upside though at least they're retaining their value :KY:
  11. Group A 20 valves are a rarity...primarily made and donated to japanese drift kings or bought by people with ridiculous amounts of money real pigs around town....only suitable for the track for the cashola id stick with the poopra :KY:
  12. here's some more mildly amusing crap :KY: How many men does it take to open a beer? None. It should be opened by the time she brings it. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Why is a Laundromat a really bad place to pick up a woman? Because a woman who can't even afford a washing machine will probably never be able to support you. -------------------------------------------------- ------------- Why do women have smaller feet than men? It's one of those "evolutionary things" that allows them to stand closer to the kitchen sink. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- How do you know when a woman is about to say something smart? When she starts her sentence with "A man once told me..." -------------------------------------------------- -------------- How do you fix a woman's watch? You don't. There is a clock on the oven. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Why do men break wind more than women? Because women can't shut up long enough to build up the required pressure. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- What's worse than a Male Chauvinist Pig? A woman who won't do what she's told. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Scientists have discovered a food that diminishes a woman's sex drive by 90%. It's called a Wedding Cake. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Why do men die before their wives? They want to. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- In the beginning, God created the earth and rested. Then God created Man and rested. Then God created Woman. Since then, neither God nor Man has rested.

  14. cool if its useful i'll grab a copy off you :KY:
  15. i can't locate any part numbers....best i could come up with is this http://www.yankeetoys.org/docs.htm came through on toymods start of this year...its a european parts catalogue...doesnt have any JDM part numbers but there is some info in there thats prolly handy...the first 6-7 part numbers are apparently universal 2 files...500mb each...i havent actually seen it as theres no way i can get it through dialup but if someone wanted to d/l and have a look at it, perhaps pilfer a few part numbers for the tech section
  16. toyota actually used the same master cylinder on a lot of different models....its fairly common to come across... hrmm, i'll see if i can locate a part number....may be useful
  17. yeah keep at it i say...only way you'll get him to look at it :KY: it can be hard reaching him at the shop as he's often out getting parts etc...don't bother calling the shop on mondays...he's never there...send him emails every few days until he gets back to you hopefully i'll have my beast ready by friday (although that was said about last fri) & when i go to pick it up i'll mention that you're keen to throw some business his way
  18. you can buy them from most auto shops. ie:autopro....looking at a cost of around $70. sprinter part is readily available ra28 is will also work
  19. You can also use some old school celica parts...it requires a little fabrication but its do-able. I'm not 100% sure which models are compatable...i think the ra23 is but i'd have to clarify the ae86 cylinders are well known for their tendancy to leak...a few people i know with gze & gte have gone down the custom track ie:cusco twinky ones should work also...can't see there being much of a difference i'll see what reliable info i can dig up for you
  20. depending when and IF i have any money i've never been out to the willowbank karts...i'd imagine anything is better than archerfield...it gets boring after a while any weekend is good for me....so if you guys wanna decide i'll let you know if i can scrape together some cash-ola
  21. when i had probs i just called his mobile & work number until i got him....was usually able to get in and get the job done within a week or so was recommended through john duel...anthony used to own my gze before it was converted...perhaps that has played a part...i don't know...most of the issues i've had have been quick fix problems so that may also be a factor. still waiting on my gte conversion though...has been 2 months in the making...i do know that he's really busy atm & he's off to sydney shortly to do a conversion...so you probably wouldnt get in to see him have you got his shop & mob numbers? he's also had few guys that have been working for him on & off quit so he's fairly backlogged have you managed to speak to him? what did he say?
  22. lol....theres plenty of it I work in a call centre so you can imagine how fun it is sitting around for 8 hours a day gotta keep myself alive somehow |blink|
  23. i got bored at work today...well, everyday actually & i usually spend most of it searching for useless inane crap....here is a sample of what helps me get through each day :KY: http://www3.telus.net/public/joeyton/drift...ttle%5b1%5d.swf for a bit of Akina drift action http://www.mohsye.com/nu5va/vantt.html Kinda like micro machines but not http://www.ebaumsworld.com/thesmurfs.shtml? funny site...prolly not to everyones taste but i cracked up...above link for Smurf Lost Episode...not work friendly
  24. hopefully by friday *fingers crossed* you think its an ecu problem hey...painful...hopefully you can get it sorted sooner rather than later
  25. Hey Tom indeed i have...she's told me a bit about you and the dramas with the gp...sad to hear  what issues are you having with it? yeah id say go the sprinter but i've got a fair bit of bias....prices on them atm though are a bit steep...with the english version of inital d having been released it's renewed the interest in them....for good or bad is yet to be seen....just hope not everyone thats gets into one thinks their a 'ful sic' drift king. I'd hate to see our sprinter stock depleated further. People are selling bone stock 4ac sprinters for 4k and getting it :blinks: but i spose it makes it good for people that have them knowing the resale is still there you can't go wrong with the gze...forged pistons and strengthened bottom end...just made for forced induction & if you get bored with the s/c simply remove and add manifold + turbo=much fun lol....inital d is cool, actually manga in general is cool...arani said you guys had only just recently got into it. do you have 3rd stage? its the only one I'm missing....damn i hate crappy 33.6 dialup absolutely....get a t28 or even ihi like me...you can pick up an rhb5 for about $350....good for about 14psi irokin: do you know john duel...he's put a 4age into a ke25...I'm sure there'd be some similarity in the conversion...sorry i don't know all that much about them There is a stack of info in the tech articles section in toymods...i'd post the links but i've already rambled on too much...basically you can compare all the 4ag series and find out how to install them in a sprinter...which isnt that dissimilar to a ke...correct me if I'm wrong you prolly know all this already anyway...i'll let someone else rant now :) /rant
