hey tom :P i'm doing well...still bumming around. lol, yeah i know what you mean...it's been a while in the making & its finally time. Car is still in the shop but i should be getting it back tomorrow. Thats not me or my car in those pics...i posted them as an eoi for the wheels which i will be selling as soon as i have enough cash for better ones. Those pics are from when the wheels were on the previous owners (Cal) car & its him @ qld raceway. I know the car you're talking about....it must have had a mishap since i've seen it last as it didnt have the drift damage...it looks pretty nice though....mmm jdm levin coupe I hope maxi is faring better than it was on the last update. story bridge would be cool what about nebo, glorious or cootha....is there anywhere you can park thats kinda cliffside & with an unobstructed view? i'm a big fan off that look i know the area you are talking about teddy...its right next to qpac so you can drive in there...it's a pickup zone for cars, busses etc...I'm sure we could get cars in there but i doubt we would last long before a rent a cop turns up

ok...car has been delayed until the 17th (surprise surprise) but at least the motor and rear end are out now. So i've got an s series diff & drum assembly ready to go. mumblezzz, i assume your still after it...if so how do you want to get it? You can drive to the shop in capalaba anytime or you can wait until next week and pick it up from my place in sunnybank hills...let me know your thoughts :)

yay...finally the car has gone in today for its long awaited conversion. Starting today car gets transformed with the aid of: ae101 4agze ihi rhb5 gtx familia turbo custom manifold t teries diff w larger axles & cusco 1.5 way lsd custom tailshaft w57 g/box (ra60) with modified w* housing 2.5" mandrel exhaust calsonic i/c larger radiator with d/c thermo fan hpc coatings on all pipework once thats up and running i'll be sourcing some 2nd hand tein coilovers for the front and adjustable koni yellows & king springs for rear. Lower the car 1.5 - 2 inches. the rest of the suspension is yet to be decided but definately a big mofo swaybar, panhard rod, strut brace & maybe traction brackets (if required) At the same time as suspension i'll be upgrading front brakes..s13 struts, rotors & calipers and on the rear going for jdm ae86 vented rotors. EBC greenstuff pads all round. usuing standard gze computer to start with so boost will be limited to 13psi but i'll prolly have it set around 8-10 to lessen chances of detonation. Down the track will be fitting a haltech e6k and by that stage will be upgrading turbo but will wait and see how it goes initally. I need to learn more about turbos anyway :| then for the cosmetics...respray, bucket seats, interior goods and decent rims (superlite 15x7s). I'm not a big fan of the current rims on the car...just doesnt feel right. plus i want to negate the use of spacers. So if anyone's out there looking for a set of standard looking 5 spoke 15x7's let me know :) have i left anything out? i should have the car back by 13th so it'll be ready to bring along to the go-kart day. all i can say atm is WOOT!!! i can't wait

i agree with demuire....4AGE or 4AGZE....personally i'd start with the gze. You'll have plenty of fun with it. Nothing like dropping it at 4-5k at the lights and just squigling down the street :| but seriously, -its a fairly tough engine that can take a beating -makes decent power in standard form -plenty can be done to extract more power from them -perfect platform if you decide to go turbo down the track -relatively cheap compared to others imo i think 3k would get the motor in for you and from there you can play with different ideas...but you know once you start you can never finish :) inital costing for my conversion is around 3.5-4k...but i can think of at least another 10k's worth of work i could do to it...its all relative to what you want. is this going to be your daily driver?

i have to drop a manifold out to a friend at ashgrove at some stage on the weekend...could be a good opportunity to get the deposit organised. $10 per person, right? who's taking the collection? Teddy?

only other thing i can think of is a money order...i doubt they'd accept cheques. I've got the cash and can drop it round to whoever whenever. where do you live teddy?
