  1. :insane: i hate being a piker...will make it up to you guys esp paul who i said i'd have a diff for ;)
  2. i'd say 30 min from aspley...the foolproof way to get there is to get on ipswich rd somewhere near the city and take the left turn when it splits into beaudesert rd...once your on beaudy rd it'll take about 10-15 min...it'll be after passing the acaia ridge cop shop/train line...you'll have to turn into paradise rd...can't miss the big toyota sign ;) but I'm guessing you'll be going freeway/mains rd...if so then just head down mains rd until you hit hellawell rd and turn right...follow that out to beaudy rd (through the roundabout) and turn right & it'll be 2 min down the road i'll be away (hooray for 5 day weekends) so i wont be able to come...would've been cool, havent been before and it looks like theres going to be a heap of yummy yotas to drool over and guys...apologies again for not being able to make the bbq cruise...was too sick to drive...only just getting over it today
  3. looks like some little snot faced shit threw a rock through your car window that sucks man
  4. paul: yeah I'm still coming...i should be getting my car back tomorrow so i'll try and give the diff a bit of a clean up and bring it along. I do have a set of brake rotors but they are jdm and as such you need a caliper slightly larger than the aus spec...if i remember i'll bring em along so you can have a gander ae86 panels would be nice too...if anyone else has em :)
  5. Name: Nick Nick: Sharpey, Snoop(y), F**k Eyes Online: Nickae86, Blunted Stylus nicknames derive from my surname or love of sleep...the rest are the usual work names. Online names...couldnt think of anything so i figured my name and my car will do...blunted stylus came about from mixing up a few names of aussie hip hop...sounded good at the time :P yay for pantera & VDP
  6. mmm, i disagree..i know a few people with 20 valves and they go pretty hard...a friend of mine has one in his sprinter...obliterates my old gze...very fast indeed i'd only ever want to try and s/c a 20v...turbo makes for too many hassles 16v n/a are a nice engine that do get and up go...but in my experience the 20v is quicker and has more torque each to their own
  7. (Wednesday) June 2 - Rollaclub Test'N'Tune (Sunday) June 6 - Rollaclub BBQ Cruise; Hinz Dam (Sunday) June 13 - All Toyota Day (MAYBE)
  8. there was a stage there where i could've become quite a fan but someone stuck the 1st cd on repeat 4-5 times in one night at a party somewhere & a mate had this cd in his car for months and it kinda affected me adversely i'll have to have a listen...if the lyrics flow better than i reckon i'll get the bug again...just have to make sure i don't overkill it
  9. i don't mind them...i haven't heard any of their new stuff...but there were a few songs on the first album that i liked it's kinda wierd...hip hop style lyrics with wierd music...buts it different & good :)
  10. theres a place over strathpine way *thinks* Strathpine Second Hand and New Tyres 3205 8100...that sells 2nd tyres from japan (ie: 1 season (5-10k)) ranging from $30 - $100....they stock all the major brands adn for the most part you can't tell the difference between new ones there was actually a story on this the other day on one of the news programs...apparently the way to go if you want some good cheap burn *cough* out *cough* tyres :) has anyone of you guys been there?
  11. thats an admirable amount of beer there happy birthday...hope it wasnt you that emptied all those cans/bottles simon :)
  12. hey paul clickety click was up for sale a while ago but doesnt look like it sold...might be worth looking into :S also, some interesting views on the turbo 4ac can be found in this thread clickety click click imo, go for it...what have you got to loose...if you blow the engine up buy another for $50 :)
  13. ack that sucks tom...i bet you're just itching to take maxi for a cruise on the freeway...but at least it's on the road to recovery. Looking forward to seeeing it on the bbq cruise :) so what are you driving to work these days?

  19. ah yes...i've seen a similar flash thingy on PF...a little green gremlin type character riding an imaginary motorcycle farting green gas muttering the same spiel amusing
  20. yay...scorched earth rules no more pocket tanks for me...wooten!
  21. nice work paul that s series diff should still be sitting out at anthonys shop for when u want it. It's in decent condition...no whirring but there is a minor oil leak from the left hub how did you go with that 4ac Nick? was it in good enough condition?
  22. sunnybank hills for me corolla_gurl & myself are the only brissy southsiders? not too worry, southside is better anyway :) :D
  23. http://www.frankstorck.nl/funfiles/filmpjes/malec.wmv brings new meaning to the term AWD...kinda :) 14.2mb
  24. i rate kyb i had kyb shocks & king springs on my old sprinter...awesome handling. A few people that had driven the car also commented on how well setup it was a good set of shocks & springs will suffice for most driving conditions...imo coilovers are only necessary if you want to take the car on the track and seriously push limits Its a little difficult not knowing the brand & condition of the coilovers. Basically you're either taking a chance and hopefully getting something real schmick or you pay the same amount for new gear that you know will perform up to your standards.
  25. FARK! thats some intense shit...you're very lucky not the best thing to happen. I hope you're feeling better. Best wishes for a speedy recovery
